A sort of mini afternoon tea which includes a pot of tea with scones, clotted cream and jam and other savory snacks as a special treat or to stave off the hunger pangs before the evening meal.
What s on the menu? Traditional Afternoon Tea Afternoon Tea for Two includes a classic selection of sandwiches (think cooling cucumber or salmon and cream cheese), scones with clotted cream and jam and a sweet selection of cakes and pastries. This is all washed down with your chosen pot of tea! Champagne Afternoon Tea All the sweet treats of the traditional afternoon tea but this time, you ll be sipping a glass of bubbly alongside your cuppa - great if you want to make someone feel really special. The experience is available Tuesday to Saturday, all year round, between 12.00 and 18:00 (limited availability on Saturdays).
Afternoon Tea for two 25 A classic cream tea in the Alexander Suite or Upper Shanty Bar Lounge of The Sands Hotel. Both provide a light and airy dining environment for guests, where you ll be served both plain and fruit scones complete with traditional clotted cream and preserves along with a pot of tea of your choice from the wide selection on offer. Whichever tea you choose, from classic black to soothing fruit and herbal, you ll be drawing on the age old tradition of taking Afternoon Tea. What's included? What happens on the day? On arrival at The Sands Hotel you and your guest will make your way to the Alexander Suite or Upper Shanty Lounge where you will be seated in the grand dining room complete with a sparkling chandelier. Once settled at the table you will be served your chosen pot of tea and a delightful display of sweet and savoury treats to indulge in. Availability The experience is available Tuesday to Saturday, all year round, between 12.00 and 18.00 (limited availability on Saturdays). It is recommended that you book in advance to ensure that your chosen date is available. All bookings are subject to availability. Please note: Some dates are excluded including Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and St Stephen s Day. Additional information Your cream tea will last approximately 1.5 hour, Please advise of any dietary requirements when booking. Share a moment with someone special with this Premium Prosecco Afternoon Tea for Two in the elegant surrounds of Tramore s Sands Hotel. For some added ooh la la you will find a selection of delicious desserts including scones flavored with vanilla, coupled with clotted cream and jam, along with mini macaroons or petite fours and a selection of miniature desserts and treats. It s not all sweet however as there are some savory finger sandwiches to enjoy along with some seeded rolls; filling and delicious in equal measure.
