This is popular event for those foodies who love trying a variety of gourmet fare. Sixteen trucks will roll into Bates starting at 12:00 to 6:00 pm. The last few years this has drawn crowds of three to four thousand guests. The live music and activities for the children are a bonus for the families attending. Guests are encouraged to bring their blankets, chairs, family and friends out for a great afternoon at Bates. We allow limited vendor opportunities so don t wait to long on these Food Truck Festivals. Spaces are $50.00 for a 10X15. Arts n Crafts Market Place Saturday & Sunday April 26 th &27 th Craft Fair 9am-4pm The Heartbeat Classic Car Show is the largest car show held at Bates Nut Farm! This event draws out both the men and the women. The men can talk cars all day while the women shop. Don t miss the Valley Center Lion s Pancake Breakfast from 7am to 10am on Sunday, $6.00 for adults and $5.00 for children and includes as much as you can eat pancakes, bacon, sausage, eggs, coffee and orange juice. The Arts Crafts will run in conjunction with the Car Show from 9am to 430 pm. The Heartbeat Chevy Car Show rolls in about 250 cars on Sunday from 9 am to 2:30 pm. This weekend gives our guests a weekend of lots of activities to choose from and a great opportunity to sell your handmade crafts and fine art. Vendor Opportunities Country Flea Market Saturday April 26 th 9am-4pm The customers were thrilled by the addition of antiques last year it really freshened up our year spring show. In addition to the Arts and Crafts Market Place, we had Antique Alley for those selling a variety of antiques and precious vintage items and Business Boulevard selling resale items, individual businesses, and services, and Community Court providing nonprofits with a venue for fundraising and Gourmet Place where you can pick up a snack from a variety of Gourmet Food trucks or pick up BBQ from our own What s Cooking. For this one-day event it is $50.00 for a 10X15, non-profits are FREE and Food Vendors are 15% of sales. Heartbeat Classic Chevy Car Show April Sunday 27 th, 9am-2:30pm The Heartbeat Classic Car Show will be from 9 am to 3 pm. Arts n Crafts and Car Show & Toy Drive - Like the Spring, the Car Show drives traffic on Saturday with the combination of Fair and cars. The beginning of the holiday season draws many out for the weekend. Bring unwrapped toy for a child in need. Santa s Coming - Santa Claus will arrive on Friday and Saturday at 1pm to give a hayride around the park for kids and their families. The children will have a chance to give Santa their lists for Christmas. Come and sell your Arts n Crafts this weekend as people bring family and friends out to the farm. Join us for our fourth annual community event. An event centered around the children that is truly magical from Santa arriving by fire engine and helicopter to watching children hop on the Polar Express for a visit with Santa. Vendor Opportunities 1. Complete and mail this Application (2 pages) including the following: a. Applications must be complete and are juried on a first come first served basis. b. Attach 2 or more photos of the products you plan to sell and a photo of your booth set-up. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want your photos returned. c. Include a COPY of your Resale License/Seller s Permit, as required by law. d. Include a check for your booth payment with the application or pay one month in advance and add an additional $5.00 reservation fee per booth space. 2. A confirmation notice of acceptance will be made through email, unless noted differently. If full, your payment will be returned and you will be placed on a waiting list. 3. Cancellations must be made in writing or email at least 2 weeks prior to the fair to receive a refund. You will be refunded in full minus a $10.00 cancellation fee per booth. 4.
