NWTF TREE SEEDLING GROWTH & PROTECTION Plantra s three-step approach is simple: Step 1: Survive. Plantra products protect your young seedlings from the start and extend critical time for newly-planted stock to send down roots in search of nutrients and moisture they ll need to compete in the field. Step 2: Thrive. Plantra tree tubes provide greenhouse benefits and weed mats improve soil moisture retention - both necessary to advance growth far beyond that for unprotected seedlings. Step 3: Succeed. Plantra-protected seedlings realize their full potential and help achieve your planting goals from providing cover to food. NWTF advice: Plant with Plantra and you ll save time and money no more lost seasons, no more wasted time and money on failed plantings. Bark Protector or Tree Sapling Protector: Shield your hardwood sapling trees (those trees that are too tall for a tree tube) from buck rub and other mechanical damage (e.g. lawn mower damage) with Plantra Tree Bark Protectors. Plantra Tree Bark Protectors are easy to use. Simply open the side of the Tree Bark Protector and wrap around the trunk. For 2 inch and larger trunks use the locking tabs to keep the tube open and create air space around the trunk. Plantra tree Bark Protectors are removable, reusable and are UV stabilized for multiple seasons of use. Available in units of 20.
