drink menu Andrew Carnegie is an American-Scottish industrialist who amassed his enormous fortune through his work as a bond salesman and the selling of the Pittsburgh Carnegie Steel Factory to J.P. Morgan in 1901 for $480 million ($370 billion by today s standard). Andrew Carnegie is most remembered for the lasting impact he made on American society through his large scale philanthropic projects in the latter years of his life. His special interest lay in local libraries, world peace, education and scientific research. He was a prominent figure at the turn of the twentieth century and his memory lives on through the many buildings and foundations he foundered, as well as the Carnegie Mellon University named in his honour. Father's Office is inspired by the Speakeasy bars that came out of the 1920's Prohibition era in the United States. Walking up the stairs to Father's Office transports you to a time where the sale of alcohol was illegal and scandalous fun was had behind secret doors.
