14 Bookings Any booking automatically binds the customer to all costs, terms and conditions mentioned below in full and to the exclusion of all other documents. Bookings must be made by telephone, fax or email at least 24hrs in advance and are subject to the availability of our guides and space. Once a booking is made, customers will receive an invoice from Millésima, fully stating all details of the visit. Any change or amendment to the visit (time, content, numbers ) must be notified as soon as possible. Every effort will be made to accommodate these changes but they will be subject to availability. For all bookings, Millesima requires a down payment of 70% of the full amount if the visit/tasting are booked more than 7 days in advance, 100% if it is booked less than D-7. The payment of the activities is to be made in euros, to Millésima, by credit card (Visa, Eurocard Mastercard, American Express) on the site, or bank transfer. Payment Prices of visits are in Euros and are inclusive of all taxes. They are based on the number of participants. Late Arrival of Groups exceptional circumstances and beyond customer s control Should a group of visitors arrive late, the guide will wait up to 30 minutes after the confirmed time of the visit. The visit will then be extended by up to 30 minutes free of charge. Beyond 30 minutes, the visit will be considered cancelled, unless the guide s timetable allows for the visit to continue as planned. In the case the guide is not free to welcome the group, another booking will be necessary under the same original conditions. Cancellation Visits and wine tastings: Any customer wishing to cancel or shorten a visit must inform Millésima at least 12 hours before the agreed time. For a tasting with extra food or cheese matching, the cancellation has to be made at least 4 weekdays in advance. In all cases, the down payment will be kept and a new visit will have to be planned. If notification of cancellation is not received by Millésima within 12 hours, or in the case the group does not arrive (other than cases of exceptional circumstances and those beyond the customer s control), no refund of any sums paid will be made. When no payment was made, Millésima reserves the right to invoice the customer for the full due amount. Works Paludate Quarter & on site 2017-2018 The cellars of Millésima and the district of Paludate are in a period of works within the framework of the Euratlantic project. Under these conditions, it is expressly foreseen that the Client will not be able to take legal action against Millesima in the event that works are carried out, during all or part of the services, inside or outside the cellars. The Customer can not obtain from Millesima financial compensation or damages in the event of modification of the spaces or visit ititinary usually planned or in case of works. Visits and tastings will not be possible from September 2017 to February 2018 due to renovation of our cellars. Jurisdiction The above terms and conditions have been drawn up under French law. Any dispute between parties arising from the contract (content, organisation, interpretation of the contract ) will be judged by the Tribunal de Commerce de Bordeaux only. In the event of a contractual dispute between clients of whatever nationality, the decision of the Tribunal de Commerce de Bordeaux will be final and binding on the parties. This applies also to any appeal against a decision made by the Tribunal de Commerce de Bordeaux
