Already successful in Australia and the Middle East under The Crêpe Café brand, BFC Retail Group is now introducing Americans to our FLYING PAN brand. It is a new fast casual dining and café concept that hopes to make eating out a little less routine and healthier too. Set in a friendly, vibrant café atmosphere, it s for people who enjoy exploring and discovering a world of imaginatively prepared new and familiar flavors with a twist, turn or a flip. As entertaining as it is delicious, Flying Pan café & crêpes is sure to delight everyone.

Imaginatively fresh. deliciously fun.

The Café Crêperie Flying Pan café & crêpes is a unique concept that focuses on offering a friendly, entertaining café ambiance reminiscent of a European café, as well as unique culinary delights. We strive to provide a delicious escape from mundane foods and dining experiences by exploring the flavors of the world with crêpes our signature dish. Flying Pan café & crêpes appeals to a broad range of consumers from women to families and professionals. We hope to entice those who enjoy dining out for breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack, or those looking for a drink but crave something out of the ordinary. Our vision is to provide a departure from the average everyday food and beverage routine with a healthful, tastier offering that is inspired by international flavors. And to do it in a welcoming social atmosphere that takes full advantage of the visually engaging and entertaining crêpe making process.

A LITTLE BIT OF history... The crêpe, in one form or another, is one of our oldest foods. It has many names and shapes throughout the world from the Indian dosa to the Mexican tortilla and dates back to when man first started mixing cereals and water together then cooking the result on hot stones. Later on, new ingredients such as eggs and milk were added to improve the taste. The French crêpe exists in two distinct versions. The traditional galette, made of buckwheat, has been enjoyed as a savory dish since the Middle Ages. During the 18th Century, white flour grew in popularity and what is now known as crêpe became a sweet and savory treat enjoyed in a place called a crêperie.

Product offering Crêpes are made fresh to order through an entertaining, interactive process in full view of the customers and are filled with a variety of sweet and savory ingredients, fresh vegetables, meat and dairy. They can be eaten hot or cold during any time of the day breakfast, lunch, dinner or snack occasions. Crêpes are very flexible and are enjoyed dine-in, take-out or on the go. Flying Pan café & crêpes menu will encompass a much broader café fare offering with omelettes, paninis, salads, soups and a variety of gourmet coffees and drinks, whilst keeping the crêpe, savory and sweet, at the center of a European café-crêperie inspired concept.

TWO BRANDS ONE GROUP Flying Pan and The Crêpe Café are the two brands owned by BFC Retail Group. These two brands embody the same vision of a fast casual café crêperie concept but brought to life in two different iterations based on cultural and geographical preferences. The first, The Crêpe Café, was opened in 2001 at Surfers Paradise in Queensland, Australia by a French Australian entrepreneur, Mr. Corgnet. It quickly grew and expanded throughout the region. Next stop was the Middle East in 2007. A second brand, named Flying Pan, was created and launched in 2010 in the United States as the next evolution of The Crêpe Café brand. Flying Pan is expanding in North America, the Caribbean, Brazil and South Korea.
