DAY 1: USA / PARIS (Friday) Fly through the night to Paris, Capital of France. DAY 2: PARIS (Saturday) Welcome to France! Meet your Forum Tour Manager at the airport in Paris. Transfer by private motor coach to your Paris hotel and drop off your bags. While in Paris, travel as the locals do, by foot and metro! Head to see the Arc de Triomphe. After, stroll down the most famous avenue of the capital: the Champs-Elysées. Have some free time for lunch and shopping in the area. Then, walk into the famous Macaron store Ladurée! If time permits, return to your hotel to check-in and take a short rest. This afternoon, admire the view from the third floor of the Tour Eiffel on Le- Champs-de-Mars Square. Enjoy dinner with your group at Chez Françoise (subject to availability). DAY 3: PARIS (Sunday) After breakfast at your hotel, discover the Musée d Orsay. See its extensive collection of 19 th and 20 th century art. After, enjoy a walk through the heart of Paris with your tour manager. Visit the always lively Quartier Latin! Stop at Shakespeare & Co, an English-language bookshop in the heart of Paris. Since opening in 1951, it s been a meeting place for anglophone writers and readers, becoming a Left Bank literary institution. Continue with a visit to the Gothic Cathédrale Notre-Dame, a magnificent religious building and one of the supreme masterpieces of French art. Walk along the Jardin du Luxembourg, see the miniature sail boats in the pond and of course watch a game of petanque! Dinner with your group at a local restaurant. After dinner, follow your group leader to the Place du Trocadero and see the Eiffel Tower's light show. DAY 4: PARIS / BARCELONA (Monday) After an early breakfast, head to Montmartre. Climb the steps to reach the Sacré- Cœur, Montmartre s hilltop church and most famous landmark. Then, have some time to explore Place du Tertre. It is now time to participate in a sculpture workshop at Espace Dali Montmartre. Become a trainee modeller, sculpting clay to produce your Dali-style self-portrait. Begin this journey being introduced to the heart of Salvador Dali's imagination and learn about the basic principles of Surrealism. Then, head to the airport and say au revoir to your French Forum Tour Manager before catching your flight to Barcelona. Meet your Spanish Forum Tour Manager on arrival and transfer to your hotel. Dinner with your group at a local restaurant.
DAY 5: BARCELONA (Tuesday) After breakfast, follow your Tour Manager and explore the intricate medieval streets of the Barri Gotic (Gothic Quarter), the original site of the Roman village. Continue through Las Ramblas, the most famous street in Barcelona. For a taste of local life, let s head to the city's main food market: the glorious Mercat Sant Josep, known locally as La Boqueria! Make a stop to enjoy some Churros con chocolate! Then, visit to the Picasso museum. The museum houses one of the most extensive collections of artworks by the 20th-century Spanish artist Pablo Picasso. Have some free time for shopping, lunch and to discover the city at your own pace. In the evening, enjoy a Tapas Tour! After the Spanish sun sinks into the horizon, the restless souls of Barcelona begin to roam the serpentine streets, allowing you to discover the sinister secrets of Barcelona on a 2-hour ghost walking tour of the city. Listen to terrifying tales of witchcraft, exorcisms and paranormal activity as you learn about the gruesome past of legendary landmarks like the Arc de Triomf and the Church of Santa Maria. Night accommodation in Barcelona. DAY 6: FIGUERES / GIRONA (Wednesday) After breakfast, board your private motor coach to Figueres, a thriving and bustling city. Enter the extraordinary Dali Museum. Inaugurated in 1974, the Dalí Theatre- Museum contains the broadest range of works spanning the artistic career of Salvador Dalí. Continue onto the ancient walled city of Girona, located on a fortress-like hill, high above the River Onyar. Have some free time for lunch. Then, continue to Fundació Mona a primate rehabilitation centre that provides them a second chance at a life free of pain and abuse. Participate in the conservation and biodiversity workshop! Return to Barcelona later in the afternoon for dinner and night accommodation. DAY 7: BARCELONA (Thursday) Today, discover Casa Batlló, built between 1904 and 1906 in the heart of the city, is the most emblematic work of the brilliant Catalan architect. Visit with a local guide. Next, participate in a thrilling learning experience at Gaudi Experiencia, an interactive museum equipped with state-of-the-art, 4D technology. Then, head to Parc Guell Gaudi's "garden city" a town unto itself with a view of the Mediterranean Sea. Have some free time for lunch and to discover the park. To finish your day of Gaudi s creations, discover the astonishing Sagrada Familia, designed by Gaudí, which is still under construction. This evening, enjoy a Paella dinner and Flamenco show! DAY 8: DEPART (Friday) This morning after breakfast, transfer to the airport and catch your flight back home.
