This wine flight includes a 3oz sampling of each of the following unique and enjoyable local selections: Robert Karl Cellars Claret Established in 2004 by a local physician, Robert Karl Cellars has been an anchor of the wine world for the Spokane community. The Claret is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Merlot and Cab Franc with notes of dark red fruit, cedar as well as hints of tobacco, and roasted coffee with a lingering finish. Grande Ronde Cellars, Cellar Red This winery began in 1997 by a group of friends who wanted to craft wines from Washington s finest vineyards. The Cellar Red is a unique blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Carmenere with herbal overtones, notes of dark plum and strawberry as well as a cocoa finish. Barrister Winery, Rough Justice Two Spokane lawyers brought this winery from a humble five-gallon home brew kit to critical acclamation at the International Wine Competition in 2001. After winning their first three golds and a silver medal, each vintage of their varietals continue to bring in awards. Rough Justice, a winery cornerstone is a blend of Merlot, Syrah, Cab Franc, and Cabernet Sauvignon.
