John Jameson founded the distillery here in 1780, and while much has changed, many of his original structures still stand on our storied patch of land. As well as being a highlight of Dublin s tourism trail, by evening Jameson Distillery Bow St. is a truly unique private event space. Whether you re planning a small private party or want to take over the whole building, we have a space to accommodate almost any suggestion. Obviously being a distillery, whiskey is never far from the conversation and we have a range of experiences that can incorporate our famous liquid with your plans. Our founder, John Jameson was well known in these parts for throwing the odd big bash and we re more than happy to carry on that legacy.
A perfect introduction to the spiritual home of Irish whiskey. Guests are welcomed and brought on a guided tour of the distillery where John Jameson founded our whiskey in 1780. As well as bringing our rich heritage to life, the tour immerses guests in the production process on which we ve made our name. Of course, we let the whiskey do a bit of the storytelling with a comparative tasting to round out the tour. Our master Whiskey Makers have dedicated their lives to the craft, but for those who don t have that much time we are happy to offer an evening crash course. Hosted in the Makers Room, you ll enjoy a private tasting experience that includes the three whiskeys that make up the Whiskey Makers Series: Distiller s Safe, Cooper s Croze and Blender s Dog. Hosted by a Jameson Ambassador, you ll learn how to recognise the ingredients, craft and flavour profiles of each whiskey. All that knowledge won t go to waste, as you ll have the chance to blend your own whiskey to bring home and proudly display in your drinks cabinet. Once you ve finished perfecting your blend, we ll move to the Maturation Warehouse where you ll have the chance to taste Jameson straight from the cask. Our Whiskey Shakers experience is an evening of mixology that immerses you in the world of Jameson whiskeys and the cocktails they have inspired. Hosted by a highly skilled Jameson bartender, your evening will explore the history, ingredients and recipes behind both classic and brand new Jameson cocktails. Your fun and learning will commence in the Shakers Room where you can create and drink your very own pièce de resistance. D A N C E There is no shortage of options for providing your event with a soundtrack. We have a fully fitted surround sound system which is ideal for providing your event some background music. It s your gig, so the perfect playlist and mood is your call. No one likes an awkward silence. For those who want something with a little more bass, DJ s and bands are available to book, depending on availability and suitability. If your event is more orchestral than disco, we should have you covered in that deprtment also!
BOTTLE YOUR OWN & PERSONALIZED GIFTING A Bottle Your Own experience is a personal touch that can be easily integrated into your event. Guests will get the chance to fill their own bottle of cask strength Jameson Black Barrel, straight from a live bourbon barrel and personalize the label by hand. Our two new retail spaces, Bow St. Markets, will also be available in the evening and are well stocked with exclusive whiskeys and Jameson gifts, for any guests who want to pour themselves a reminder of their time spent at Bow St.
BAR & DRINKS It wouldn t be a proper distillery without a bar. JJ s is located in the heart of the distillery and is home turf for our bartenders who have perfected every imaginable way you could serve our prized whiskeys. The full Jameson whiskey family takes pride of place behind the bar, and JJ s offers a stellar seasonal drinks menu that marries classics with modern, innovative bartending.
