This list applies specifically to the Slurpee brand sold in 7Eleven stores. Other similar products that are sold in other stores may not be kosher, even though the flavors may seem to be identical. For kosher certified Icee and Slush Puppie brands, please refer to the beverage list. This list only primarily applies to 7Eleven stores in the United States. Some flavors are also listed for Canada. Other countries may be using other flavors that are not necessarily recommended. The COR from Toronto has compiled a list of all kosher Slurpees in Canada. Click HERE to view that list. All 7eleven stores are required to install a specific water filter for the water used in Slurpees, fountain drinks and even coffee! These specific filters, made by EverPure, are rated at 5 to 10 microns, which is sufficient to remove any questionable insects in the water. Therefore, the
water used for Slurpees sold at 7eleven stores everywhere in the USA, including NY, have no halachic problems. This is only a list of particular Slurpee flavors. Unless indicated otherwise, the crc does not certify any particular Slurpee flavor. This list is meant to only indicate that they can be accepted as kosher. Other than the 7Eleven store on Touhy and California in Chicago, the crc does not certify and individual store or vending machine.
