SELECTING YOUR MENU How It Works Creating the perfect menu for you and your guests is one of the most exciting parts of planning your event. We recognize that the process can be challenging, so we offer an optional menu item tasting to help in your decision making process. Menu item tastings are offered at a cost of $35 per person for up to 4 people. The total cost will be fully refunded to you in the form of a credit on your final invoice if you choose us as your caterer. Tastings are held at the Portofino Room, a private event space located at 1800 Capitol Avenue, next to our Paesanos Midtown location. Tastings require a minimum of 10 days advance notice. If you enjoy the overall style and quality of the items you ve tasted, you can rest assured that any item you include on your buffet will be an excellent choice. When planning a tasting, you may choose up to seven items from our Catering & Special Events Menu. Each item will be served as a tasting sized portion in lieu of a full portion. Complimentary nonalcoholic beverages will be included; beer and wine is available to purchase to accompany your tasting. Please contact our Event Coordinator to schedule your tasting. Menu item tastings are intended to give you a snapshot of the style and quality of food we prepare. While you may be able to include specific items you are considering, we are unable to prepare every item from our menu due to batch size constraints and other factors (see a list of exclusions below).
