Via Alta offers classic, well-executed, clean and simple Italian flavours. We handpick our suppliers and do extensive research to source the best produce that Australia has to offer Via Alta is owned and operated by Alessandro Pavoni of two-hat Ormeggio at The Spit, Bill Drakopoulos of Sydney Restaurant Group. Via Alta s Head Chef is Angelo Malerba. Via Alta is fully licensed and BYO (wine only). We would be pleased to assist with your wine selection from our wine list prior to the event to ensure stock is available. A $12 per bottle corkage applies should you choose to bring your own wines. Supplementary Menu Options Pre-order OR choose on the day (subject to availability) STUZZICHINI (per person) Organic sourdough - homemade ricotta - extra virgin olive oil 5.5 Mixed marinated olives 3.5 Spiedo Bresciano: Additional pre-arranged menu options Spiedo Bresciano is a very traditional Brescian speciality, from the northern region of Lombardy in Italy. It is a slow spit roasted selection of chicken and pork, basted over 5 hours in butter, sage and red wine. It is served on share platters with a selection of sides of warm soft polenta with burnt butter, roasted potatoes with rosemary, and green mixed leaf salads. This creates a real feast atmosphere, and is delicious! This would incur an additional charge for person of $20.5pp. Cake: If you would like us to make and serve a tiramisu for your birthday cake, in place of dessert there would be no extra charge incurred. We would need to know 48 hours prior to your booking. If you would like to bring your own cake in place of your dessert course there would be no cake-age charged. If you would like to bring your own cake to serve after dessert the cake-age fee is $5.5pp and we will cut and serve it for you. If you would also like this served with gelato the cake-age will be $8.5pp.

Please note that a deposit is required to secure the booking. General Information For parties of 12 plus guests we offer our popular sharing feast menus. For parties up to a maximum of 20 guests we also offer a reduced a la carte menu. For parties with 21 guests or over we offer sharing feast menus only. To confirm your booking and hold the table, date and time we require your credit card details as security and a completed booking form returned to us. First booking form in, first table confirmed. Management reserves the right to cancel any function if the booking form is not returned with credit card details provided. All final details, numbers, menus and beverages must be confirmed in writing 72 hours (for groups of 12-19) or 7 days (for groups of 20+) prior to the event. Dietary requirements must be provided 10 days prior to your function date. Menus change on a weekly basis. Menus outlined in this package are sample menus only. You will be provided with your actual menu 7 days prior to your function. Prices shown include GST. An 8% service charge will be added to the final bill on the day of the event and is not included within the minimum spend requirement (if applicable). Payments made via credit card incur a 1.65% transaction fee. Payments made via eftpos incur a 0.55% transaction fee. BYO wine is permitted - $12/bottle corkage applies. No BYO beer or spirits permitted, we have a fully licensed bar available. Via Alta enforces their policy of responsible service of alcohol and as such reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to any guest according to their discretion.
