Fruit free from damage (caused by fruit fly, carpocapses, twisting of the skin, eggs and larvae of borers), and more generally from any live animal organism. 4 Commodity Specific Requirements 4.1 Fruit and Vegetables NOTE: New Zealand is known to be free from harmful species of fruit fly in the Tephritidae family. 4.1.1 Fresh Fruit and Vegetables Actinidia spp. Kiwifruit declaration required. Consignment must be free of leaves and branches. Must be no evidence of fruit displaying fungal and or bacterial attack. Additional declaration: ref IP Zespri "Fruit flies of the Tephritidae family are not known to occur in New Zealand" And "Inspected and found free from larvae of Diptera, Lepidoptera and Coleoptera" And "Inspected and found free from Coccoidea, Thrips, Psyllids and Aphidoidea" Allium cepa Onion declaration required. Additional declaration: Smut disease (Urocystis cepulae) must not have been traced in the field of production and just around Allium sativum Garlic declaration required.
