Olio Piave was founded in Veneto in 1938 from the tradition and oil passion that my family has passed down from generation to generation for almost a hundred years. This great story, combined with a constant search for quality, guarantees a healthy, good and genuine product.

A FAMILY TRADITION MADE IN ITALY Family Dal Sasso s historic company is located in the splendid landscape of Treviso, not far from the historic Opitergium (Oderzo), a town that retains many traces of the culture and civilization of our country. The oil mill, which was created in 1938 and is now known as Medio Piave Fontanelle, has developed its activity passing down from generation to generation a careful and wise oil making tradition. Since then, the fathers great experience and the children s great innovation and passion have enabled the creation of a strong and solid reality characterised by the assiduous and total control of the production and by a national and international growth. Over the years, the absolute love for the territory and the constant search for the quality of raw materials allowed the company to earn the trust and respect of the numerous customers and of the best professionals in the field, thus consolidating oil mill Medio Piave Fontanelle as a genuine reality of the Italian panorama and of the Made in Italy. The passion and care the Dal Sasso family put into their work over the years represent, today more than then, the warranty seal testifying the authenticity and genuineness of the products Italian people find on their table every day.

OLIO PIAVE A name, a territory, a guarantee The taste of tradition, the skilled hands that have passed down gestures and rituals for centuries, the green meadows of our beautiful mountains and hills, the customs of our people, Olio Piave holds this and much more. The name Piave derives from the homonym Piave river, called in Italy Fiume Sacro alla Patria (Sacred River of the Homeland), which flows entirely within the boundaries of Veneto and finds its ideal bed in the plain between the provinces of Venice and Treviso, which is exactly where our oil is produced. The history of the brand has its roots in a consolidated love for the land and its products and has always been a synonym of quality and reliability. Each can of Olio Piave holds all the oil passion that the Dal Sasso family has passed down for almost a hundred years and is the echo of voices and stories that, with genuine simplicity, mirror a territory rich of history and culture. EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL Classic taste Extra Virgin Olive Oil Piave is the result of a careful and rigorous selection of the best olives and trees that guarantee its quality, its typicality and its taste. Each can holds the secret of good Italian cuisine, in fact just a few drops can transform a dish into a special occasion. It is a versatile and above all healthy oil thanks to the presence of vitamin E and polyphenols, which ensure its stability and its nutritional and beneficial qualities through a protective and antioxidant action. Extra Virgin Olive Oil Piave is ideal to enrich those dishes that require a fresh and fragrant note. Like the other oils the company produces, Extra Virgin Olive Oil Piave is gluten-free and is therefore suitable for people with celiac disease. FLAVOUR Fruity and full-bodied. PAIRING Extra Virgin Olive Oil Piave is an all-purpose oil. It pairs well with raw and cooked vegetables, legumes and grilled meat. PACKAGING To maintain maximum quality and allow a longer shelf-life of the organoleptic characteristics of the product we used an aluminium container that protects it from oxidation and is 100% recyclable. USE It is best used for cooking or to dress. Use it raw to enhance its dietary properties and to maintain its nutritional properties.

WELLNESS ON THE TABLE WITH PIAVE OIL COLD PRESS Extra Virgin Olive Oil Piave is a superior category olive oil obtained directly from olives selected according to the old tradition and solely by mechanical means. IT HELPS MAINTAIN NORMAL LEVELS OF CHOLESTEROL One tablespoon of Extra Virgin Olive Oil Piave contains optimal levels of OMEGA-9 that help keep under control the normal levels of blood cholesterol through a dietary replacement of saturated fats with unsaturated fats. VITAMIN E is a powerful antioxidant: it protects the cells from oxidative stress causing ageing and helps maintain the oil fresh. THE RECIPE Olive oil crackers INGREDIENTS FOR ABOUT 20 CRACKERS 200g flour 00 200g bran flour 1 tsp salt 1 cup hot water 1/3 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil Piave PREPARATION Sift the two flours into a bowl, add some salt, the water a bit at a time and Extra Virgin Olive Oil Piave and whisk for about 10 minutes. The dough should be neither too sticky nor too dry. Add water or flour accordingly. Once you have obtained the dough, cut it into 20 pieces of equal size and roll them into balls using a little Extra Virgin Olive Oil Piave. Place the balls on a plate covered with a clean cloth or a plastic wrap and set them aside to rest at room temperature for 30-40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 230 C (446 F). One at a time flatten the balls with a rolling pin or with a pasta machine, forming many strips. Place the crackers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and prick them with a fork so they will not fill with air. At this point, bake until the crackers are golden. Once cooked, let the crackers cool and serve. KOSHER CERTIFIED PRODUCT VEGAN OK CERTIFIED PRODUCT
