Antique Automobile Club of America 2018 Eastern Spring Meet Gettysburg, PA July11-14, 2018 www.2018eastspringmeet.aaca.com The Chesapeake Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America would like to invite you to the 2018 Eastern Spring Meet in historic Gettysburg, PA. The headquarters hotel is the Wyndham, Gettysburg. The venue was selected so that all meet activities could be held at one location and has all the facilities necessary including: 1. Over 400 rooms on site 2. Space for concourse parking, secure trailer parking and swap meet 3. Location on a major highway 4. Banquet facilities for over 800 5. Large meeting areas 6. Shopping and dining areas nearby with public transportation available 7. Restaurants on the property in addition to those in the hotel. 8. Interesting places to visit in the area The Wyndham Gettysburg is located at 95 Presidential Circle Gettysburg, PA 17325. We have a block of rooms available at a nightly rate of $129 (plus state and local taxes). Call 717.339.0020 (press 3) and ask for group block AACA Eastern Spring Meet to get this room rate before the cut-off date of June 11, 2018. There is a 3 day minimum and 48 hour cancellation booking requirement. This nightly rate is also good for the several days before and after the Meet, if you would like to spend some extra time in the Gettysburg area. EARLY DEPARTURE FEE In the event that a guest who has reserved a guest room within Group s guest room block checks out prior to confirmed/reserved check-out date, an early departure fee of $75.00 will be charged to the guest s folio. Guests wishing to avoid this fee must advise the Hotel at or before of any change in the scheduled length of stay. Hotel will inform members of Group of this fee upon check-in.

Meet Registration will be available in the evening on Tuesday, July 10 th. If you have a specialty you would like to share with others through a seminar please let us know. On Wednesday, July 11 th, the hotel will be the location for Meet Registration, the Your Choice Raffle, the Swap Meet, Car Corral and Car Cleanup. We are planning to have a Bus Tour to Ft McHenry & the Baltimore Museum of Industry and a Driving Tour to the Utz Potato Chip Plant, & Prueitt Restorations. We re making arrangements for the viewing of the movie Fields of Freedom in the evening at the theater located on the host hotel property. On Thursday, July 12 th, Meet Registration, the Raffle, Operational Check, Swap Meet, Car Corral and Car Cleanup will continue. We are planning to have a Bus Tour to the Gettysburg Visitors Center and Cyclorama and battlefield. A driving tour is being planned which will include stops at Antietam Battlefield and a visit to an 85 car collection that includes lunch. In the evening there will be a Welcome Party with a ventriloquist as entertainment, a buffet meal and a cash bar. On Friday, July 13 th the Raffle and Swap Meet will continue. We are planning to have a bus trip to Strasburg, PA in Amish country to visit the Railroad Museum and Steam Railroad where a train ride will be available. The cost includes transportation and admission to the Museum. The cost of the train ride and lunch is not included. A driving tour is being planned to the Eastern Museum of Motor Racing. In addition the Membership Roundtable and Judging School will be held. We are also planning to have seminars in the afternoon if we get volunteers who want to talk about an area of the hobby they are willing to share. Friday evening there will be an Ice Cream Social with entertainment and the Your Choice Raffle drawings will be held. On Saturday, July 14 th, The Judge s Breakfast and the Concourse will be on the hotel property. A Ladies Luncheon is being planned which will include an 1863 fashion show. 50/50 Raffle tickets will be available and the Swap Meet will continue. The Awards Banquet will be held in the evening at the hotel where the 50/50 raffle and special raffle winners will be announced. We look forward to seeing you.
