Catering Information Our Mission Park Avenue Club is a unique model for philanthropy by providing support to charitable and cultural organizations through our relationship with the Park Avenue Foundation. Park Avenue Club is committed to offering the highest level of member experience while celebrating, The Spirit of Giving in our community. Our Goal The overall goal at Park Avenue Club is to enrich our member s social lives, build their networks and provide them with an extension of their home or office. Park Avenue Club is redefining the meaning of private clubs by setting an example to give back to the community. Park Avenue Club is the only private club in the nation that benefits eleven different charities and cultural organizations. Cancellation Policy Cancellation of an event will result in the loss of the function deposit. Cancellation of an event must be made 30 days prior to the event date in order to avoid a cancellation fee. If cancellation is made within thirty (30) days of the event, 50% of the contracted price will be charged. If cancellation is made within seven (7) days of the event, 75% of the contracted price will be charged plus the full service charge. If cancellation is made within 24 hours of the event, 100% of the contracted price will be charged plus the full service charge. This charge is calculated from the gauranteed guest count listed on the contract. If a guest count range is listed, the calculation is determined from the low end number unless a minimum guarantee is listed. In the event there was a minimum guaranteed guest count, the calculation is based on the guaranteed number listed on the contract. If at the time of the cancellation there is no contracted price set, the assigned room fee will be charged. Guarantee Policy A final number of guests is required (3) business days prior to the event. If a final number is not received by that time, the original head count will be used as the guaranteed number. All private rooms require that a guest minimum be met in order to reserve the space. If the final guest count does not meet the guaranteed minimum, the full food and beverage charge will be incurred based on the guaranteed number. Please inquire with the catering department as to the minimum number of guests needed to reserve our private rooms. Valet Service A valet parking fee of $3.25 per person will be charged to all private parties of fourteen (14) people or more that take place during lunch and dinner dining hours.

Catering Information Service of Alcoholic Beverages State liquor laws and Club policy prohibit food or drink to be brought onto the premises for consumption in the Club without prior approval of Management. The Club Staff reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone that cannot present a valid I.D. and any Member or guest who appears to be intoxicated. Function Deposits All deposits are non-refundable and non-transferable. Initial deposits can be made either by check or credit card on file however, subsequent deposits must be made by check. Deposits cannot be billed to members accounts or be taken from their Food & Beverage Minimum. Payment of an Event All catering functions require that the member have a valid credit card on file with the Club. All charges are first applied to any remaining food & beverage minimum. Any remaining balance will then be charged to the credit card on file (business functions) or will be paid by check (social functions). In order to pay by check, notification must be made at the time of booking. Payment must also be received in full (3) days in advance of the event. If payment is not received the credit on file will be charged along with all applicable fees. Payment for Alcoholic Beverages New Jersey state law prohibits Park Avenue Club to accept payment from non-members of the Club when alcoholic beverages have been served. All charges incurred by a member or a non-member who is sponsored (by a member who is present) will show on the member s monthly statement. Beneficiaries of the Park Avenue Foundation Community FoodBank of New Jersey Distributes over 43 million pounds of food and other items annually to over 500,000 people. With more than 40,000 volunteers, they reach 18 of the 21 counties in New Jersey. Boys and Girls Clubs of Newark A 75 year old youth organization which enables over 12,000 children to build important developmental, educational and life skills to help them realize their individual potential. Burgdorff Foundation A Family Foundation for the support of the arts and other worthwhile charitable organizations. Jersey Battered Women s Service Women with first-hand experience offer extensive services for the abused and their children. Founded in 1976, JBWS served over 20,000 individuals last year. Wharton Institute for the Performing Arts Provides orchestral music instruction for 400 talented young musicians in grades 3-12 with music education experiences and furnishes excellent facilities to foster their talent. The Morris Museum Founded in 1913, the Morris Museum serves more than 300,000 children and adults by providing education in the arts, sciences and humanities through exhibitions, educational programs, performing arts and special events. Morris Habitat for Humanity Working in partnership with low-income families to build decent, affordable homes. Patriots Path Council ~ Boy Scouts of America Providing a safe, productive environment and contributing to the development of good character and fitness in our future citizens. Share Our Strength Supporting food assistance, treating malnutrition and promoting economic independence throughout the world. P.G. Chambers School For over 50 years, helping children with disabilities and their families achieve their fullest potential by providing special education programs and therapy.

Club Policies Although it is necessary to implement certain policies and regulations governing members and their guests, it is our desire to keep them at a minimum. It is the responsibility of the Club s membership to become familiar with these policies and to cooperate with the Board of Trustees and the Management in their implementation. Our Club Hours of Operation Breakfast 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM Monday through Friday Lunch 11:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Friday Dinner 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM Tuesday through Saturday Reservations Reservations for a la carte dining are strongly encouraged at all times. Please call reception at 973-301-8233 to make a reservation or to request further details for member special events. Reservations are required for use of any private dining rooms through our catering department. Membership Cards/Reciprocal Privileges Members are not required to present their membership card when using the Club however, we do ask all members to verify their membership number when calling to make a reservation. Please note, you may be required to present your Park Avenue Club membership card if you are visiting one of our reciprocal clubs. Please call our reception desk for more details or for a Letter of Introduction to visit a Reciprocal Club at 973-301- 8233. Catering Information Main Dining Room The Main Dining Room, as well as all of our private dining rooms, may be reserved for private functions by making special arrangements with the catering department. Room Fees Choice and Corporate club members are only subject to private room fees under the following circumstances: Use of a Private Room when no meal is requested. A $35.00 per person food minimum is not met (2:00 PM and later). The billing member is not present for the duration of the event. A member extends his/her privileges to a non-member. Evening Club Members are required to pay the assigned P.M. Usage* Room Fee whenever using a Private Room. To guarantee the highest quality of food and service, the Club Offers a limited dinner a la carte menu for groups of 13-16 people. For groups of 17+ people, a pre-selected catering menu is required.

Catering Information Non-Member Usage A member in good standing may extend his/her member privileges to a non-member for private room use. The guest host will be subject to a non-member room fee based on the private room used. New Jersey state law prohibits Park Avenue Club from serving alcoholic beverages to non-members and their guests when a member is not present. This policy is strictly enforced and no exceptions will be made under any circumstances. Park Avenue Club does not permit members or their organizations to supply their own alcoholic beverages for an event. Club Policies Attire Appropriate attire is required at all times throughout the Club. Jackets are not required but are preferred on the main level of the Club. Jeans are permitted at all times however must be free of holes, tears and fraying. Sneakers, shorts, tee shirts and flip flops are strictly prohibited, unless advertised by Management for a special event. It is the responsibility of each member to inform his or her guest of the proper dress code of Park Avenue Club. It is the policy of the Club that shoes be worn at all times while on Park Avenue Club property. The Club will not accept responsibility for any injury resulting from failure to follow this policy. Children Children are permitted in all dining rooms when accompanied by an adult. It is requested that all members and guests with children be respectful of fellow members. Please be advised that children s menus are always available. Cell Phones Cell phones and laptops are prohibited in all areas of the Club except in private rooms or hallways. Service of Alcoholic Beverages The club follows State laws concerning their Private Club Liquor License as it relates to BYOB and guests ability or lack there of to purchase alcohol. Please call the club for further details if necessary. The Club staff reserves the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone that cannot present a valid I.D. and any member or guest who appears to be intoxicated. Parking Please be so kind as to refrain from parking your car under the porte-cochere, as this area is a fire zone.

Guest Policies All members in good standing are permitted to extend the use of Guest Passes to their associates, friends or family to use the Club without being present. This privilege may be extended to an unlimited number of guests, however, please note the following parameters will be true: Each guest is permitted a maximum of three visits per year. A guest may not purchase alcohol unless a member is present. To make arrangements for a Guest Pass, we ask that the member please call our receptionist in advance to make the reservation to safegurad the member s account. Guest charges will always be posted directly to the member s account and guests credit cards will not be accepted. Guests using a private room when a member is not present will be charged a room fee. Any Club member who sponsors any individual or organization to contract for the use of the facilities of the Club accepts the responsibilities for and guarantees the immediate payment of the entire bill. Any Club member who sponsors an individual or organization to contract for the use of the facilities of the Club accepts the responsibility for and guarantees the payment of any destruction of property to the Club. The amount to be paid for any damages or expenses shall be determined by the Club, within seven days from the date of the function and shall become part of the final billing. No member or guest is permitted to remove any Club property. Accounting & Membership Policies Credit Card Requirement Policy All members are required to have a credit card on file with the accounting department. Food & Beverage Minimums Food & beverage minimums do not apply to sales tax or gratuities. Please refer to your monthly billing statements for remaining balances on your annual food and beverage credits, or call our accounting office with any questions or concerns. Service Charges A service charge of 20% is added to all food and beverage charges. Additional tipping is not permitted. If you wish to recognize an outstanding performance or offer other thoughts or comments, please complete one of our comment cards available at the reception desk. Delinquent Accounts Delinquent accounts (accounts unpaid after 30 days) shall be charged a late fee of 1.5% of balance until account is paid in full. Accounts with an overdue balance of more than 60 days will automatically have any balance due charged to credit card on file. No exceptions or special considerations will be made for delinquent accounts. Membership Resignations Memberships will be automatically renewed at the beginning of the member year on October 1st. All membership resignations must be made in writing 30 days prior to the end of the membership year by August 31st with official resignation date of September 30th. Please note, Club membership dues cannot be refunded or pro-rated, including minimums on food and beverage. Birthday Certificates Birthday certificates are valid when dining on an a la carte basis and for club sponsored special events. Member Special Event Cancellation Policy There is a 48-hour cancellation policy for all member special events. Failure to notify the Club within the period will result in a full charge per person to the member s account.
