NOT YOUR AVERAGE DINING PROGRAM You deserve the best and that s what we strive for to be recognized as one of the best dining programs in the nation. Afterall, this is Pirate Nation! Our goal is to serve delicious food, create an awesome environment, and surround ourselves with intelligent people that s you! We provide our students with a range of diverse dining options conveniently located throughout campus. Check out a few highlights of our program that distinguish us as one of the BEST! FOOD FOCUSED We have an Executive Chef who leads an entire team of trained chefs that s a whole lot of experience in our kitchens. Lots of national and local brands provide you with the options you know and love. Our Executive Chef and Registered Dietitian work together to develop well-balanced menus. Food for the mind, body and soul. STUDENT FOCUSED Tons of scheduled events, giveaways and tastings provide a cool community vibe. No need to leave campus we re a one-stopshop from soup to nuts and everything in between! Our Registered Dietitian makes sure you re getting the nutritional, dietary advice and information you need.

IT S NOT ROCKET SCIENCE, IT S JUST FOOD OUR MENUS With over 20 locations and tens of thousands of people to serve, our menus are of the utmost importance. Our goal is to have well-balanced menus utilizing fresh ingredients with an emphasis on quality. Menus are developed based on the latest trends and student feedback to provide value through the best-tasting, most nutritious and diverse offerings possible. OUR EXECUTIVE CHEF Executive Chef Kristian brings his creativity, flair and culinary genius to make sure you get awesome food! Although, he s not the only accomplished member of our team; Kristian leads a whole team of trained chefs. When not in the kitchen, they re out on campus and love interacting with students, so be sure to say hi if you see them they ll be the one s in the white coats!

TAKING NUTRITION TO A WHOLE NEW LEVEL OUR REGISTERED DIETITIAN When you need accurate, timely and practical nutrition information, we ve got you covered. Our RD collaborates with Health Services dietitians and sports dietitians, assisting with nutrition counseling for students with special dietary needs. Individual tours can be scheduled throughout the semester to help familiarize yourself with the healthy options offered throughout all of our locations. FOOD ALLERGIES + INTOLERANCES At ECU Dining we recognize various food allergies and intolerances. We make every effort to provide your student with an excellent dining experience that accommodates special dietary needs. Upon request we are able to provide a more detailed breakdown of nutritional content for ingredients and dishes served within our dining locations. Menus are also available online with allergen, nutritional and ingredient information. EDUCATION + OUTREACH Our RD enables, educates and encourages people of all ages to adopt and lead healthier lifestyles. Throughout the year, we collaborate with student and campus organizations to provide nutrition education and awareness through cooking demos, health fairs and programs. Counseling services are available to offer guidance and accomodations if needed.

MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN: YOUR PERFECT PLAN Each Meal Plan offers something different so you can find what works best for your schedule and lifestyle. Just so you know, our Meal Plans are annual contracts, but you can switch plans between semesters. Meal Plans are annual contracts and will be billed to your University Student Account. You can track your activity on our GET Mobile App (on Google Play and the App Store ). UNLIMITED ACCESS Select from one of our Purple Meal Plans for unlimited use at either dining hall. Once you select your Meal Plan, it is automatically connected to your ECU OneCard (a.k.a. your student ID). PIRATE MEALS Get more for your swipe - a set amount of meals to utilize for select options at food courts and restaurants across campus throughout the semester. Pirate Meals and offerings vary between location and meal plan selection. Pirate Meals are deducted from your account at time of purchase and are automatically replenished each semester. PURPLE BUCKS Already included just for you! Purple Bucks work just like cash, are accepted at all ECU Dining locations and are meant to supplement your Pirate Meals. Running out of Purple Bucks? No problem. Students are able to reload at anytime as Gold Bucks in $50 increments. Learn more about Gold Bucks online at ecu.edu/dining.

We offer Gold Meal Plans to commuter students. These plans are designed to meet the needs of students living off campus while offering the advantages of dining on campus. For more information about Gold Meal Plans and policies, visit us at ecu.edu/dining. Wondering if financial aid might cover the cost of your meal plan? You may waive payment for a meal plan until you receive your aid.
