MONTHLY WEATHER REPORT FOR THE KARNATAKA STATE Temperature Highest Maximum Temperature April 2016 The maximum temperature over Karnataka recorded during the month of April 2016 was 45 C at Hatcholli on 28 th,at Siruguppa on 19 th, at Tellalakote on 27 th in Bellary district, at Babaleshar in Bijapur district on 22 nd, at Atnoor on 27 th, at Karajagi on 29 th, at Narona on 27 th, at Kodli on 29 th, at Shahabad on 27 th, at Ijeri on 27 th in Gulburga district, at Manvi on 27 th, at Sindhanur on 27 th in Raichur district. Lowest Minimum Temperature The minimum temperature over Karnataka recorded during the month of April 2016 was at Bhagamandala in Kodugu district with 16 C, followed by Vasthare in Chikkamanaglur district with 16.1 C. Region Wise Daily Mean Maximum Temperature South interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean maximum temperature in the range of 36-44.7 C. North interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean maximum temperature in the range of 35.6-44.5 C. Malnad recorded the daily mean maximum temperature in the range of 30-41.8 C. Coastal Karnataka recorded the daily mean maximum temperature in the range of 33.5-39.2 C. Region Wise Daily Mean Minimum Temperature South interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean minimum temperature in the range of 16.5-28.3 C. North interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean minimum temperature in the range of 20.9-29.5 C. Malnad recorded the daily mean minimum temperature in the range of 19.0-25.9 C. Coastal Karnataka recorded the daily mean minimum temperature in the range of 20.6-28.7 C. Region Wise Daily Mean Diurnal Variation of Temperature South interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean diurnal variation of temperature in the range of 12.3-19.5 C. North interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean diurnal variation of temperature in the range of 11.8-18.8 C. 1
Malnad recorded the daily mean diurnal variation of temperature in the range of 10.2-18.6 C. Coastal Karnataka recorded the daily mean diurnal variation of temperature in the range of 6-16.6 C. Heat wave Heat wave conditions prevailed at a few places over South Interior Karnataka on 27th and at isolated places over South Interior Karnataka on 26th April 2016. Relative Humidity Region Wise Daily Mean Maximum Relative humidity South interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean maximum relative humidity in the range of 61.5-99.9%. North interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean maximum relative humidity in the range of 38.5-100 %. Malnad recorded the daily mean maximum relative humidity in the range of 71.5-100%. Coastal Karnataka recorded the daily mean maximum relative humidity in the range of 72-100 %. Region Wise Daily Mean Minimum Relative humidity South interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean minimum relative humidity in the range of 12.1-31.7%. North interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean minimum relative humidity in the range of 6.6-31.7%. Malnad recorded the daily mean minimum relative humidity in the range of 18-60.6%. Coastal Karnataka recorded the daily mean minimum relative humidity in the range of 25.9-63.7%. Daily Mean Diurnal Variation of Relative humidity South interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean diurnal variation of relative humidity in the range of 44.6-76%. North interior Karnataka recorded the daily mean diurnal variation of relative humidity in the range of 19.7-76.2%. Malnad recorded the daily mean diurnal variation of relative humidity in the range of 31.3-76.5%. Coastal Karnataka recorded the daily mean diurnal variation of relative humidity in the range of 24.1-66.0%.
