BUNN-O-MATIC COMMERCIAL PRODUCT WARRANTY Bunn-O-Matic Corp. ( BUNN ) warrants equipment manufactured by it as follows: 1) All equipment other than as specified below: 2 years parts and 2 year labor. 2) Electronic circuit and/or control boards: parts and labor for 3 years. 3) Compressors on refrigeration equipment: 5 years parts and 1 year labor. 4) Grinding burrs on coffee grinding equipment to grind coffee to meet original factory screen sieve analysis: parts and labor for 3 years or 30,000 pounds of coffee, whichever comes first. These warranty periods run from the date of installation BUNN warrants that the equipment manufactured by it will be commercially free of defects in material and workmanship existing at the time of manufacture and appearing within the applicable warranty period. This warranty does not apply to any equipment, component or part that was not manufactured by BUNN or that, in BUNN s judgment, has been affected by misuse, neglect, alteration, improper installation or operation, improper maintenance or repair, damage or casualty. This warranty is conditioned on the Buyer 1) giving BUNN prompt notice of any claim to be made under this warranty by telephone at (217) 529-6601 or by writing to Post Office Box 3227, Springfield, Illinois 62708-3227; 2) if requested by BUNN, shipping the defective equipment prepaid to an authorized BUNN service location; and 3) receiving prior authorization from BUNN that the defective equipment is under warranty. THE FOREGOING WARRANTY IS EXCLUSIVE AND IS IN LIEU OF ANY OTHER WARRANTY, WRITTEN OR ORAL, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT T LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF EITHER MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The agents, dealers or employees of BUNN are not authorized to make modifications to this warranty or to make additional warranties that are binding on BUNN. Accordingly, statements by such individuals, whether oral or written, do not constitute warranties and should not be relied upon. If BUNN determines in its sole discretion that the equipment does not conform to the warranty, BUNN, at its exclusive option while the equipment is under warranty, shall either 1) provide at no charge replacement parts and/or labor (during the applicable parts and labor warranty periods specified above) to repair the defective components, provided that this repair is done by a BUNN Authorized Service Representative; or 2) shall replace the equipment or refund the purchase price for the equipment. THE BUYER S REMEDY AGAINST BUNN FOR THE BREACH OF ANY OBLIGATION ARISING OUT OF THE SALE OF THIS EQUIPMENT, WHETHER DERIVED FROM WARRANTY OR OTHERWISE, SHALL BE LIMITED, AT BUNN S SOLE OPTION AS SPECIFIED HEREIN, TO REPAIR, REPLACEMENT OR REFUND. Sweetener Thermistors If dots appear this is an indication of an open thermistor circuit (see image). Check that thermistor wire harness attached properly at bulkhead fitting area and CBA area, if wiring connection is good, thermistor may need replaced. **Do not confuse with dots that indicate BIB pressure that are seen at the upper left and upper right** PRIMING & SWEET CALIBRATION Ready a container that will hold a minimum of 100 ounces (Coca-Cola 100 oz. container (CCP#134854). Put container below the dilution nozzle and prime the sweetener by holding down the center button (highlighted below by the red circle below this circle is T printed on the decal). This will be a 20 second countdown, repeat this step until sweetener is flowing freely (hold container tight to the nozzle to avoid splashing of sweetener). To confirm that both BIB#1 and BIB#2 are primed you should see two dots on the LCD screen as shown below. If these dots are not visible, repeat priming. Discard and rinse container for future use. Once unit has reached READY temperature (Screen should show READY TO BREW ), enter programming by pressing and holding hidden switch button to the right of the display until unit reads LAN- GUAGE., then advance to Calibration modes. This hidden button is indicated by a small gray dot. 6 42461.2 111115
SWEETENER CALIBRATION: **ONLY PERFORM IF YOU HAVE 1000ml CONTAINER AVAILABLE** Press and release HIDDEN button to right of display until display shows CALIBRATE FLOW? Select brew button under to advance to CALIBRATION FLOW? Press to advance to CAL FLOW SWEET1? Press to calibrate sweetener. Place an empty measuring container under dilution nozzle. Use the Coca-Cola Universal Measuring Cup (CCP#12754) - This measurement is in milliliters (ml). Display will show CONTAINER READY?, PRESS BREW BUTTON TO START. Press any BREW Switch to begin 60 second sweetener calibration. Display will show CAL FLOW SWEET1.60 SECONDS TO FINISH. REPEAT STEPS ABOVE TWO MORE TIMES / RECORD ON FINAL READING ON LAST PAGE. You CANT record until you complete a minimum of three readings and the syrup temperature has stabilized. If the temperature has not stabilized the machine will not allow you to input a value and you will have to repeat additional syrup draws. (To minimize fluctuation of temperature during calibration, be sure to press start again on calibration with empty container immediately after previous reading). Record the final reading on the sweetener value screen ( NEW SWEET FLOW ). Reading should be between 350ml and 1035ml during the 60 second catch test, anything outside this range review the following: BIB may not be within target temperature or pressure may not be set correctly. Evaluate flow of sweetener components. Insure proper air pressure and air supply. REPEAT steps above to calibrate the second sweetener by advancing until you see CAL FLOW SWEET2.
