H I S T O R Y It was 1902 when Leonardo grounded his first plant of pasta production, the «Leonardo Mastromauro & Figli» company. The first plant was in down town in Corato, in Apulia region, the durum wheat region. The plant was likely an artisanal lab, which produced 3 tons per day.
H I S T O R Y In 1951 as Leonardo s sons joined him in business, a new plan was built with introduction of first production lines Production increased to 10 tons per days. It was at this time that the company name was changed in «Riscossa» which means «revenge» or rebirth, as the big wish of everybody after the second war.
H I S T O R Y In earlys 80 s a new generation of Family Mastromauro joined the leadership of the company: Leonardo Junior (actual President), Giuseppe, Alberto and Mariantonietta. A new plant was built, the actual one The company reached 8 production lines Production capability achieved 100.000 tons per year Total shapes become more than 100
T O D A Y Since the end of 90 s the company made new investment The fourth generation: Nunzio, Margherita and Fabio jointed the company. Building new silos and introducing 8 new package machineries for a total investment of 6,5 Mln Euro
