Full bodied and enveloping. Pleasant finish, extremely persistent. Serving temperature ( C): 16 Match with: Red fruit tarts, dry pastry, chocolate cakes, blue and aged cheese. Pour it on its own at the end of the meal. Average no. bottles/year: 3,000 Grape yield per hectare tons: 7 Notes: The wine is made from a selection of the best clusters of all the Sagrantino vineyards. The grapes are dried on straw mats. Vinification and ageing: The clusters are dried on straw mats for two months. Fermentation and maceration with the skins for 10-16 days, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel. Maturation in barriques for 18 months and in steel for 12 months. Finishing in the bottle for 6 months.
