You may need to get some items from team members, but you may also request sponsors to sign-up for special needs for their pilgrim. Make sure they know to drop off items after they bring their pilgrim and where to put it. At team training Snack Chief may want to plan any special things they want to bring or do, and any supplies they may need to bring. (special dishes, foods, decorations). Check with Lay Director for any team or pilgrim who may have a birthday during the walk. Have a small cake or a cupcake (with a candle) to serve at an appropriate break. Also, check to see if there are any special diet needs, (such as diabetic) or any special requests from the Lay Director. Some items you may need to bring from home any special tools/supplies needed to prepare food. Make sure you have everyone label the items they bring from home. Make each person responsible for getting their things at the end of the weekend. You may want to bring a dishpan and a small bottle of dish soap for wiping table, cutting boards, knives, etc. Friday Sunday: Refer to detailed schedule for times and decorating tables. Just like every other aspect of the Walk, the food and table decorations build as the weekend progresses. (In quantity and in color). Please keep all food areas clean and orderly all weekend.
