In its first year M Victoria St has been shortlisted to win Best Restaurant Menu in the London Restaurant Festival Awards and as Best New Opening and Best Designed Restaurant in the Restaurant Magazine R200 Awards M IS THE BEHEMOTHIC BRAINCHILD OF MARTIN WILLIAMS AND DEFINITELY HAS ALL THE STARS ALIGNED TO QUICKLY BECOME A LONDON INSTUTION - Food and Travel magazine Executive Chef Michael Reid returned from Melbourne to the London Restaurant Scene to open M (Reid trained at both Le Gavroche and Restaurant Gordon Ramsay under the tutelage of celebrated chefs Michel Roux Jr, Simone Zanoni and Mr Ramsay himself). Whilst in Melbourne Michael worked closely with celebrity chef Shannon Bennet in his award winning Vue de Monde restaurant and with some of Australia s finest chefs, including George Calombaris and Peter Gilmore. He also cooked alongside Heston Blumenthal at The Skinny Duck, Melbourne. Our Victoria St Venue has a Private Members Club feel and finish that makes it a West End hot spot for events and functions.
M DEN Our 60 cover Private Members Bar is now accepting applications and is occasionally available for Private Events perfect for Drinks and Canape Functions / Presentations. A home from home attracting an eclectic mix of socialites, businessmen and women from a variety of sectors including Media, Politics, Luxury, Fashion; M DEN offers a unique, warm, private space for both work and play from 7am to 1am. Accessed through a secret wall, featuring personalised bottle lockers for members, a private bar, fireplace and a private six seat screening room; the décor is a blend of chocolate and burnt oranges, the ambience; understated, absolute luxury. M WINE STORE & TASTING ROOM The ambition of M WINE STORE was to break down all pretention and give access to buy exclusive and unusual premium wines which have previously only been available to purchase in restaurants or through fine wine merchants and brokers. THE TASTING ROOM is a 20 cover drinking or dining space which houses six tasting machines, which offer 48 wines to sample in an informal, ultramodern environment with informal canapes for food wine matching, or for a private meal surrounded by wines.
