The Sequoia Our newest private space, located on the 4th floor of Wayfare Tavern. The Sequoia is great for cocktail receptions or an elegant dinner party. With its full bar, whiskey tasting room, and banquet seating this space can hold up to 100 standing guests. The Bartlett Room Our large private dining room, located on the third floor, accommodates both large and small groups and is the ideal venue for seated dinners, corporate meetings, cocktail receptions and wine tastings for up to 50 seated or 80 standing guests. The Billiard Room Our private room on the second floor may be rented as a pool room or a dining room. The pool table converts to a wood top dining table that can accommodate up to 16 guests. The Sequoia The Sequoia at renowned Wayfare Tavern features a unique entertainment experience, versatile enough for all of your hosting needs. A private dining room, one of a kind cocktail and reception bar on the fourth floor highlight the new Sequoia experience. The fourth floor is a breathtaking space complete with dramatic skylight views, that pays homage to our beloved Bay Area roots. Sequoia s floors can be booked individually or together. The Bartlett Room The Bartlett Room is a private entertaining space that can accommodate up to 50 seated guests or up to 80 guests for standing receptions. Named after Lt. Washington Bartlett, who is credited with the naming of San Francisco, the room features mahogany paneling and hardwood floors. It is an ideal location for formal dinners, corporate events, specialty wine tastings, holiday parties and cocktail receptions. The Bartlett Room has five large tables which can be arranged end to end for a kings table, or school room style. The room is equipped with both a sound system and large flat screen TV that can be used for video presentations. A bar can be set up in the room for your party needs. The Billiards Room The Billiards Room is housed within the cozy, wood-paneled library on the second floor. The room accommodates up to 16 persons and can be reserved in two hour increments for a game of pool or can be reserved for private dining. The Billiards Room features an antique tin ceiling, a vintage red felt pool table, and double-paned glass doors. Equipped with a high-definition flat screen TV with all major sports and entertainment channels, this is the perfect spot to play pool, watch sporting events, and enjoy some of our canapés or familystyle favorites. GENERAL EVENT INFORMATION WINE & BEVERAGE We suggest one white and one red for all groups of more than 16 guests. If you do not want to pre-select wines, you may order when you arrive (selections on the day of the event are based on availability and will need a 15 minute grace period after ordering). Groups larger than 20 guests must pre-select wines. CORKAGE POLICY Our corkage fee is $25.00 per 750ml bottle. No other alcoholic beverages can be brought in and consumed on premise. PRIVATE BAR SET UP $100 (Bartlett Room Only) For an additional $100.00 set-up fee, we can provide a full liquor bar of our premium well cocktails. Cocktails are charged upon consumption at $12 per drink. A bar offering wine and beer can be set up for your event without an additional charge. AUDIO VISUAL EQUIPMENT Both the Billiards and Bartlett Rooms offer a 60 LCD Flat Screen TV with an additional 24 TV in our Bartlett Room. All of our flat screens offer connection for both PC and Apple computers for presentations, full cable availability and DVD players. The cost to use any of our flat screens are included in our room rental fees. Additional equipment such as microphones and speakers can be arranged at an additional cost. Arrangements must be made at least one week prior to your event and holds a 24-hour cancellation policy. FLORAL ARRANGEMENTS Fresh floral centerpieces may be pre-ordered. Prices for arrangements start at $60 including vase. Please allow at least 72 hours prior to your event to process the order. VALET You may include valet service for your guests for $12 per car. Valet service begins at 5:00pm daily. We are unable to offer valet service before 5:00pm due to city regulations. PLACE CARDS Place cards can be printed and arranged on the table for a fee of $3.00 per card. We require 72 hours notice of final names with a seating chart.
TERMS & CONDITIONS CANCELLATION POLICY A credit card number is required to hold this reservation. In the event that you cancel this reservation after receipt of contract, we would charge a non-refundable cancellation fee of 50% of the food and beverage minimum. If you were to cancel the event 48 hours or less prior to the event, we would charge 100% of the Food and Beverage Minimum. Day of cancellations will be charged for the quoted amount on the BEO including any rentals, flowers, place cards, fees, room rental, as well as any food or the Food and Beverage Minimum which ever is greater. All taxes, surcharges and fees will apply to this charge. GUEST COUNT CONFIRMATION The organizer of the event is required to confirm the total number of guest attendance two business day prior to the day of the event. This is the minimum number of guests which you will be billed for. If guest numbers are not confirmed, the largest number on the contract will be used. BILLING AND CHARGES The host / hostess of the event will receive one statement at the end of the event. The following taxes and charges will be added: 22% administrative charge; 8.75% sales tax and 4.5% San Francisco Mandate. Unless previous arrangements have been established, the balance due to Wayfare Tavern must be paid at the end of the event by: cash, company check or credit card (Visa, MasterCard, Discover or American Express). Personal checks will not be accepted.
