Salon EDEN Our à la carte restaurant EDEN with direct view on the lake may be booked for your special event. We are pleased to make you an offer, according to your wishes. Availability upon request. It is fully air-conditioned with daylight, and direct view on the lake. The room is designed with a pillar in the middle, which does not allow some seating forms. GENERAL CONDITIONS Validity The contract enters into force upon receipt by the EDEN AU LAC of the signed confirmation. We reserve the right to withdraw any offer until receipt by us of the signed confirmation. The agreements contained in the contract are mutually binding. Event programme We are committed to ensuring the success of your special culinary event. It is therefore essential that you inform us 5 days in advance of your scheduled programme, menu and wines on the date in question. Deadline for confirmation of the exact number of participants is 48 hours before the event. Our invoice will be calculated on the basis of this figure. For organizational reasons, contact between the two parties shortly before the event must be assured. Cancellation conditions In the event of meal and catering reservations being cancelled at short notice, the following conditions will apply: Cancellation 10-5 days before the event payment of 60% of the confirmed order and services; 5 days before the event, payment of 100% the confirmed order and services. In the event of cancellation and no specific order or services having been confirmed, we will invoice on the basis of CHF 30.- per person (aperitif-style functions) or CHF 80.- per person (banquet-style functions). Hotel accommodation - Individual reservations for up to 3 rooms, no cancellation fee if notified up to 24 hours in advance of scheduled date of arrival. Group reservations for up to 10 rooms, no cancellation fee if notified up to 15 days in advance. In the event of cancellations not submitted within these deadlines, the EDEN AU LAC will invoice for all reserved services. Food & Beverage Flowers, menus - We shall be happy to organize the perfect floral and other decorations for your event. For dinner events, candles will be provided. We print your menu cards. Special printing requirements will be invoiced separately. Wines - We are at your service for any advice or assistance you may require in selecting the most appropriate wines from our extensive wine list. In the event of certain vintages no longer being in stock or being in short supply, we reserve the right to supply an appropriate alternative of equal quality. Should you wish to supply your own wine, we will invoice a corkage fee of CHF 45.- per 75cl bottle. Extension of hours Regular licensing hours in Zurich terminate at 24 hrs. They can be extended up to 04 hrs., in which case a surcharge would be invoiced on the basis of CHF 8.- per person per hour. Liability The event organizer shall assume liability for any loss of or damage to hotel property and is therefore responsible for concluding the necessary insurance arrangements. For any loss of or damage to property brought to the event, the organizer shall, in principle, assume sole liability. The EDEN AU LAC shall assume liability only within the framework of Swiss legal requirements. The same shall apply concerning the advance despatch, distribution and processing of material by our personnel. Insofar as the EDEN AU LAC supplies technical or other equipment to the organizer or obtains such equipment from a third party, this shall be effected in the name of the organizer. The event organizer shall assume liability for the correct use and orderly return of the equipment in question and shall not hold the EDEN AU LAC responsible for any claims from third parties. Place of jurisdiction The contract is drawn up in accordance with Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction is the city of Zurich. 10
