New Year is a great time for family and friends to gather together and celebrate the old year whilst welcoming in the new! Our annual house party ensures that you can kick back and relax and let us look after you. Chef has put together some fantastic menus, the Fours Bears Den team have arranged some fun things for the children to do so you can have some much deserved me time during your stay. And the rest of the team will be on hand to ensure that you have everything you need. New Year Break 3 or 4 nights Saturday 30th December 2017 to Tuesday 2nd January 2018 Saturday 30th December 2017 New Year s Eve Sunday 31st December 2017 Guests are welcome to arrive from 12 noon and use the Hotel s facilities and your bedroom will be available from 3pm on your day of arrival. Lunch* is served in the Conservatory from 12 noon. Activities are available in the Four Bears Den for the 0-8 year olds from 3pm to 5pm and the team have arranged a special activity to get ready for the New Year, making melting snowmen! High Tea is served for the little ones from 5pm to 6pm followed by a film in the Cinema Room. Dinner is served from 6pm so please ensure that you book your table in advance. House wine will be served with all dinners and is inclusive in your package but if you would like to reserve something else for your meal, a selection of wines** will be available throughout your stay. For the older children, a further film will be shown in the Cinema Room. Join us for our welcome drink reception* in the Drawing Room from 7pm. If you are eating earlier with the children, then just ask the team to bring you a glass of fizz to enjoy at your table. For the older children, a further film will be shown in the Cinema Room. Breakfast is served in the main house from 7.30am until 10am and in the Lodge from 8am until 10am. Morning coffee* is available for those guests simply wishing to relax this morning or why not take a walk or bike ride around the estate. For those wanting to come to the Den, supervised activities include making sparkler wands and party hats for the under 8. Lunch* will be served in the Conservatory for those wishing to dine, please make sure you book your table to avoid disappointment. For children 5+. Challenge the Den team to the Games Contest. For children 3+. Come and join the fun disco, circus acts and magic show at 3pm. High Tea is served for the little ones from 5pm to 6pm in the Conservatory, followed by a film in the Cinema Room. Dinner will be served from 7.30pm, please make sure you book your table to avoid disappointment. House wine will be complimentary throughout the evening for you and your party until midnight. After dinner, take a trip around the dance floor with a disco in the Drawing Room until the small hours. Ring in the New Year with a glass of Champagne! Our bar will be open until 1am after which drinks can be obtained from the night manager. As it s New Year, brunch will be served from 8am until 2pm in the Conservatory for all guests. For those staying in the Lodge, a light continental breakfast will be available from 8am to 10am, guests are also welcome up in the main house for brunch. For guests checking out today, we respectfully ask that you vacate your room by 10am. Please feel free to stay and blow away those cobwebs and get out and about on the Estate with the bikes or take a stroll. The team have details of pre-planned routes for you to explore! Activities are available in the Four Bears Den for the 0-8 year olds from 10am to 12 noon and the team have arranged a special activity of making firework cookies. The older ones (5+) have the opportunity to make their own mocktail. Book the little ones in the Den for the afternoon where they will have fun making firework cookies! High Tea is served for the little ones from 5pm to 6pm followed by a film in the Cinema Room. Buffet dinner is served from 6pm so please book your table to avoid disappointment. As with other nights, a further film is being shown in the Cinema Room for the older children. Parent Supervised Activity: Throughout the day familes are welcome try the New Year s quiz down in The Den. Approximate timings. Some items may be subject to change. Tuesday 2nd January 2018 Time to Say Goodbye! Breakfast is served in the main house from 7.30am and in the Lodge from 8am until 10am. Activities are available in the Four Bears Den for the 0-8 year olds from 10am to 12 noon and the team have arranged a special activity of making your very own 2018 calendar. So our housekeeping team are able to prepare for the next guests arriving today, we respectfully ask that you vacate your room by 10am. The older ones (5+) have the opportunity to create their own note book or diary for 2018. The Four Bears Den During your stay we offer two hours complimentary supervised sessions in The Four Bears Den for children up to the age of 8 years of age. This is subject to availability and is given on a first come, first served basis. We strongly advise that all sessions are prebooked including the lunchtime sessions for the older children prior to arrival to avoid any disappointment. If you have booked a session and don t inform us of your late arrival, your place may be given to another guest after 30 minutes. Dining over the New Year Chef has prepared special menus for your stay during New Year and we can cater for most dietary requirements but advance notice must be given in order to prepare the meals for you. As we often have a high proportion of larger groups staying with us over the New Year period, it is essential that you book your table in advance to avoid disappointment. Only meals stated in this programme are included in your package price, all other additional meals, snacks and beverages are chargeable. All meals will be served in the main house unless otherwise stated. Helpful information about your stay: Payment of your Account A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your booking with us. The remaining package balance of your account is due on 1st December 2017. We accept all major credit cards but we no longer accept payment of personal or company cheques for payment on departure. Your deposit is non-refundable in the event of a cancellation. Dietary Requirements Should any of your party have special dietary requirements, please let us know in advance.
