PRESS REVIEW The Tasting Panel Magazine: 92 points [...] this delicate, superbly balanced rosé not only exhibits freshly picked raspberries and strawberries, but a brillant texture that allows one to feel the sheer minerals and softness of rose petals. Pink grapefruit and prickly pear add a memorable touch to the finish. Wine Spectator Score: 86 points A light and tangy style, with hints of cherry and white peach backed by a flicker of savory on the finish. Nielluccio and Syrah. Drink now. 15,000 cases made. JM Jancis Robinson: 15.5/20 [...] Very pale rose pink. Very light nose that s tad industrial. But there is no shortage of refined fruit on the palate and the finish, modern winemaking, is not too sudden. Wine & Spirit Magazine : 91 points This takes the salty mineral flavors of vermentino and enriches them with a little chardonnay. The effect is at once mouthfilling and refreshing, lasting with delicate floral notes, as well as a firm lemony savor. Wine Spectator Score: 88 points Lemon curd, honeysuckle and white peach notes mingle here, offering a fresh finish gilded with an echo of quinine. Vermentino and Chardonnay. Drink now. 6,000 cases made. JM [...]Lively creamy lemon sherbet sensation on the nose. Mouth-filling and clean though without much concentration. This would make a delightful house white for those looking for relatively low-alcohol wine. Good balance and no shortage of fruit. Chardonnay presumably adds a bit of weight Wine Spectator Score: 86 points Blood orange, cherry pit and singed cedar notes mingle here, staying fresh through the sanguine-edged finish. Niellucciu and Merlot. Drink now. 6,000 cases made. JM Jancis Robinson: 15/20 No oak. Pale crimson. Rather overtechnical nose. Slightly pinched on the palate. Ungenerous - perhaps too young?
PRESS REVIEW Jancis Robinson: 15/20 Pale crimson. Something a little rank about the nose of this. Very light and almost tart. Easier to see the Sangiovese than the Syrah with a sweet modern finish. Fairly rich nose with lemon highlihts. Racy with good fruit weight and a little smokiness. I d drink it sooner rather than later though. Could disappear in a puff of smoke! Guide Hachette Rosés 2017-2018: Jancis Robinson: 15.5/20 [...] Very pale greyish pink. Light nose. Quite a delicate texture but no surfeit of flavour. I d drink sooner rather than later. Lots of acidity (not that it sticks out) ; presumably the grapes were harvested fairly early. Jancis Robinson: 15.5/20 I m not at all sure which vintage this is, so few clues to anything are given on the bulbous bottle, but the light crimson colour suggests a very young wine produced from suite high-yielding vines. Smells of modern winemaking rather than Sangiovese. Light in body with fresh acidity and little texture on the finish. Competently mad summer refreshment. [...] Very pale rose pink. Exuberantly fruity nose. Good texture and freshness with medium fruit concentration on the mid palate. Smart packaging and good balance. I wouldn t keep it for long in 2018. [...]Very pale in a gnomucallylabelled clear bulbos bottle. Smells of dried grasses grown in a hot climate, with a green (lime?) undertow. Quite interesting and it lasted well in an opened bottle. Accomplished satin-smooth texture.
