SCIAL MEDIA High Point University Dining Plans The University Dining Plan is provided for all residential students at High Point University. The cost of the Dining Plan is included as part of your basic Housing & Dining semester charge. Global Dining Terms to Know We have four global dining locations on campus that offer a variety of food options. The Café and the Farmers Market are All You Care to Eat and the Village Grille and Silver Line Diner & Market accept global meals swipes, but are not All You Care to Eat. Each time you dine in one of these locations, one meal is subtracted from your weekly meal allowance. Magic Meals Every Dining Plan comes with seven Magic Meals per week. Magic Meals are retail combo swipes (entree, side, and drink). Magic Meals can be used at any dining location on campus, including one meal a week at 1924 PRIME Steakhouse. Magic Meals do not carry over from week to week. Dining Dollars Dining Dollars supplement your weekly meal allowance and may be used in all dining service locations on campus, except 1924 PRIME Steakhouse. The dining dollar amount is per semester and does not transfer from semester to semester. Cashless Campus The HPU Cashless Campus model ensures that our students are able to enjoy the extraordinary services we provide for their exclusive use in a safe and secure environment. Meal Plans 19 Meals Per Week 19 meals per week and comes with 19$25 Dining Dollars per semester. f these 19 meals, seven are considered magic meals. campus. The remaining 12 meals can only be used at one of our four global dining locations on campus. 14 Meals Per Week 14 meals per week and comes with 14$150 Dining Dollars per semester. f these 14 meals, seven are considered magic meals. campus. The remaining 7 meals can only be used at one of our four global dining locations on campus. 10 Meals Per Week 10 meals per week and comes with 10$250 Dining Dollars per semester. f these 10 meals, seven are considered magic meals. campus. Meal Periods The weekly meal cycle begins on Sunday. Unused meals from the week do not transfer over from week to week. n Sunday, you will again have the full amount of weekly meals available to use. Every student at High Point University may select the meal plan that is best suited for their dining habits. You select your Meal Plan via your students online MyStuff Account. Dining Plan enrollment for the Fall semester is conducted between June 1 and the end of the drop/add period for the Fall semester. You will be given an opportunity in early January to change your Dining Plan for the Spring semester if you desire.

Located at the Slane Student Center food court, this Chick-fil-A Express offers you sandwiches, nuggets, strips, wraps, salads, fries, Chick-fil-A lemonade, and milkshakes! If you need to dine in a comfortable, relaxing environment with time to slow down and study, enjoy the fresh, delicious bakery items from our HPU exclusive Great Day Bakery. Try our salads, paninis, wraps, soups, breakfast sandwiches as well as our amazing desserts! At the Slane Student food court, students can enjoy the nation s only fast food restaurant to meet and receive the American Heart Association s Heart-Check Meal Certification. Your HPU Subway has fresh sandwiches, salads, pizzas and desserts. Come enjoy your favorite sandwich with us! The HPU campus is always buzzing with activity from students running to class, extracurriculars and philanthropy work. We have two Starbucks on campus, at Slane Center and the Center for Student Success, ready to serve up all of your favorites! Dining Locations in Yadkin Hall The C-Store 2 carries your favorite snacks, frozen items, groceries, household goods, fresh fruits, F Real milkshakes, made to order grill items plus much more. Stock up on all your convenient store items without having to leave campus. Dining Locations at Center for Student Success The second Starbucks is located in the Center for Student Success building. This location is a great place to prepare for job interviews and start your morning right with Starbucks coffee. Dining Locations at the Village the grille aldridge village The Grille at the Village offers students a dynamic menu in a comfortable poolside setting. We have wood fired pizzas, favorites from the grill, a sushi bar, and a fresh to order deli station for whatever you may crave. We also carry simple convenience items such as basic groceries for our students. The Grille is a global dining location, but is not All You Care to Eat. The Point Sports Grill is the place on campus where you can enjoy the games, hang with friends playing trivia or pool, or just socialize while enjoying a great meal. The Point serves up burgers, wraps, salads, sliders, homestyle features, plus other munchies and appetizers. ur full Jamba Juice store on campus is located on the lower level between the Arcade and Cinema. This location is a great place to relax and enjoy your favorite treat away from the hustle and bustle of HPU. The Wanek Center C-Store is the largest convenience store at HPU. This C-store offers a large selection of bottled beverages, snacks, grocery items, frozen foods, household needs plus convenient Grab N Go meal options. 1 9 2 4 prime s t e a k h o u s e 1924 PRIME exemplifies the holistic, values-based education that High Point University provides to students. While operating as a first-class restaurant, 1924 PRIME also serves as a learning lab, exposing students to proper social and dining etiquette and promoting many of the values that High Point University seeks to model: Service, Generosity and Fellowship. Dining Locations at North College Silver Line Diner and Market This location brings the Diner menu to High Point University. We offer breakfast all day, tons of great features from the grill and deli, a customizable salad bar and waffle bar, and a market that offers simple convenience items such as basic groceries. The Diner is a global dining location, but is not All You Care to Eat.
L REGISTERED DIETITIAN HEALTH AND WELLNESS AT HIGH PINT UNIVERSITY High Point Dining Services has an on staff Registered Dietitian dedicated to the investigation, design and implementation of Health and Wellness practices in the dining locations. Kelley Magowan Role of the Registered Dietitian: The goal of the High Point Dining Services Nutrition Program is to enable, educate, and encourage people of all ages to adopt and lead healthier lifestyles. The program recognizes various food preferences and allergies among a large campus population and is dedicated to meeting the nutritional needs of its students, providing nutrition education, and spreading nutrition awareness. HPU Dining prides itself on extraordinary service. We work closely with students, faculty, and staff to help accommodate special nutrition related requests. Please contact Kelley Magowan, MS, RD, LDN to schedule an appointment magowan-kelley@aramark.com Below are the dietary indicators that can be found around campus on our menus and in our dining locations. - The Registered Dietitian (RD) collaborates with the chefs in developing and planning a four-week menu cycle for our residential dining halls, incorporating a variety of menu options to satisfy a number of special diets (gluten-free, vegetarian, vegan, etc.). - The RD is involved in one-on-one student nutrition counseling for those with special dietary needs. The RD works closely with the culinary team to ensure student s dietary needs are being accommodated. Individual students are able to meet with the RD, managers and chefs to make arrangements for specially prepared food when the daily menu offerings do not meet their needs.
