CARE AND MAINTENANCE Clean the inside of the coffee maker by running it with cold water only. Wash the TRAVEL MUG, TRAVEL MUG LID and PERMANENT FILTER with warm, soapy water. Wipe the outside with a soft, damp cloth.
Note: The coffee maker shuts off automatically when brewing is complete. Lift the COVER. 4. Pour the water from the TRAVEL MUG into the WATER RESERVOIR. Note: Do not exceed the WATER MAX LINE. 5. Place the PERMANENT FILTER in the FILTER HOLDER. 6. Using the COFFEE SCOOP, place two scoops of coffee in the PERMANENT FILTER. 7. Lower the COVER. 8. Place the TRAVEL MUG on the PAD. 9. Press BREW/POWER to start the brewing process. The BREW INDICATOR illuminates. 11
10 COFFEE MAKER OPERATION MAKING A CUP OF COFFEE Before making your first cup of coffee, clean the coffee maker by running it with water only. Do not add coffee. Thoroughly clean the coffee mug by washing it with warm, soapy water several times prior to use. The coffee maker turns on automatically and the BREW INDICATOR illuminates the first time you plug it into an electrical outlet. Wait until the unit shuts off automatically before you proceed to make coffee. 1. Insert the power cord into an electrical outlet. Note: If BREW/POWER is pressed when the unit is not plugged in, the unit will be On when you plug it in. 2. Fill the TRAVEL MUG with cold water. IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS All the safety and operating instructions should be read, adhered to and followed before the unit is operated. DANGER To reduce the risk of electric shock, burns, fire or injury: 1. Always unplug the unit from the electrical outlet immediately after using. 2. Do not use while bathing or in a shower. 3.
