The event last year was met with a huge response and we expect an even bigger response this year as we welcome headliner country music artist Rick Trevino! Applications are due no later than April 1. Restaurant spaces are on a first come, first served basis and are expected to sell out. Please take this opportunity to secure your space now! The restaurant application is enclosed. Review the application, fill in the information required and return it with your deposit by email or US postal mail no later than April 1. Old Town Street Festival 2017 Restaurant/Food Service Application DATE: May 19th and 20th, 2017 TIME: 5PM-8PM Friday; 11AM 8PM Saturday WHERE: Old Town Street Festival 100 N Brushy St, Leander, TX 78641 EXHIBIT INFO: Tents are required for all vendors to participate. Your designated 10x10 area will require YOU to bring a tent, tent weights, tables, chairs, etc The designated exhibit area will be identified by number. You are welcome to add decoration. Electricity requirements and any electrical food service equipment you plan to bring requiring heating elements must be noted in the space provided on the application. All supplies (bowls, plates, napkins, utensils, etc ) must be provided by the restaurant exhibitor. Food service can include beverage sales, soft drinks, and water. Beer and wine will be sold by OTSF. Setup will begin by booth number and will be communicated after May 1. Exhibitors shall indemnify the Leander Chamber of Commerce & Visitors Center against all liability resulting from negligence of the Exhibitor, their agents or employees and shall reimburse the Leander Chamber for any loss or expense incurred by reason of negligence. The LEANDER CHAMBER OF COMMERCE & VISITORS CENTER is not responsible and does not guarantee against loss or damage due to theft, fire, wind, hail, rain, accident, sunlight, cold or injury or any other acts of God. SECURITY: This year s festival will be gated and/or onsite security will be provided Friday evening into Saturday morning although it is the responsibility of the exhibitor to close/cover their booth outside of festival hours. All vendors will have access to the private bathroom located inside the Leander Chamber of Commerce office. FOOD SELLING GUIDELINES: There are no booth fees for restaurant/food services. They are all paid a percentage of token sales. However, a deposit of 135 will be required to participate. The 135 will be returned to vendors included in the check from token sales.

All food sales will be via tokens. OTSF patrons will drop a token(s) into the container at your booth. Each token has a value of either 1 or 5. Patrons will purchase tokens at designated token booths. Any food vendor accepting cash will be asked to leave the premise and will NOT be allowed to participate in any future events. OTSF will provide a closed container for tokens at each food service booth. All tokens will be counted the week following the festival. Restaurant may choose to keep their container until official counting and may reserve a time to have a representative present during counting. NEW In an effort to help our restaurants make more money, they will now be paid based on the chart below. Member Non-member 100-500 0.65 0.60 501-1,500 0.70 0.65 1,501-2,500 0.75 0.70 2,501+ 0.80 0.75 Example: John is a member of the Leander Chamber and sold 1600.00 of ice cream so OTSF will pay John 1600 x 0.75= 1,200.00 Portion size and costs are to be determined by the restaurant. All restaurant exhibitors will need to provide a description of all foods to be served on the application. We will limit the types of food served. Pictures are encouraged but not required. All payments will be made after the Leander Chamber of Commerce and Visitors Center has counted and confirmed the tokens. Payments will follow within 1-2 weeks after OTSF has concluded. FOOD TASTINGS CONTEST: There will be a Best in Show Contest, each vendor that elects to participate in the contest will be required to provide up to 10 samples for the committee to taste. Winners will be announced at the Festival and receive a Best in Show Medal for display. FOOD SERVICE REQUIREMENTS: All groups using a generator and/or cooking on-site must have a new or inspected 5lb dry chemical fire extinguisher. Your booth will be inspected by the Fire Marshal before the event. If you fail inspection you will not be able to operate until your booth is in compliance. All food vendors must complete the Temporary Food Establishment Application with the Williamson County and Cities Health Department and pay the 50 fee associated with the permit. It is the responsibility of the vendor to contact the Health Department separate from the City of Leander. The City of Leander has no involvement with this permit being issued.

The Temporary Food Establishment Permit is needed for any group that is serving and/or providing samples of foods. If you have an Annual Mobile Food Establishment Permit with Williamson County this can replace the Temporary Food Establishment Permit Requirement. Permit Applications must be submitted to the Williamson County Health District at least two weeks before the event (May 5, 2017). Permit Applications can be submitted by mail, fax, or email.
