FUNCTION AREA LOUNGE BAR ROOM Right in the centre of the venue, the Lounge Bar Room is the largest function area. Up to 350 guests inside with a private bar and cocktail bar. Smoking area outside. Subject to availability. MINIMUM SPEND Fri / Sat: $8K. $1000 security deposit required. Minimum 250 guests Sun / Thu: $3K. $1000 security deposit required. No Minimum guests PUBLIC BAR ROOM Suitable for groups of 100-250, featuring a private smoking terrace for your guests convenience FUNCTION BAR ROOM Situated on the first floor above the bistro, suitable for groups of up to 100 people (standing/canape style function only) THE ROCKSIA HOTEL HAS FOUR PRIVATE AREAS FOR HIRE SMALL FUNCTION ROOM Private room suitable for groups of up to 25. BISTRO A variety of indoor and outdoor seating options in the bistro for group bookings. Please note bistro seating is for a la carte only. WHAT S INCLUDED BEVERAGE * Cash bar or on consumption bar tab. FACILITIES * Fully staffed private bar and tap beer (Function & Public Bar Rooms only). * Wide screen tv/s which can be set up to play your own DVD s or videos through various multimedia ports (not available in the Bistro). * Various audio options, including our in-house system, DJ or AV facilities that allow you to use your own DVD s or ipod (not available in the Bistro). * Microphone facilities (min 7 days notice required, not available in the Bistro). SECURITY * Security is free of charge on Friday and Saturday nights EXTRAS * Private DJ can be hired from $100 per hour which includes all equipment (min $500 spend, function bar room or public bar only). * Any other party requirements can be sourced on request including decorations, balloons, photographer and dance floor (min 7 days notice required, additional costs apply). ROOM HIRE * There are no room hire fees. We do require a minimum spend in total of $1500 when booking the Function Bar Room and $3000 when booking the Public Bar Room. DEPOSIT * We require a $500 deposit for use of the Function or Public Bar Rooms to secure your booking. RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL & UNDERAGE GUESTS The Rocksia Hotel prides itself on its responsible service of alcohol policy and in turn the reputation of its hotel facilities. Please be aware that whilst you are at the hotel, you are on licensed premises and as such, intoxication is not permitted. It is the responsibility of both the staff and those present at the function to adhere to this policy and any intoxicated persons will be forced to leave the premises. We ask for your utmost co-operation in this matter to ensure an enjoyable evening for all guests. We are happy to cater for underage guests at The Rocksia Hotel. Please be aware that minors are required by law to be in the company and immediate presence of a parent or legal guardian at all times on licensed premises and must remain in an authorised area of the hotel. These include our private function rooms, the Lounge Bar, Bistro and Outdoor areas. Minors must vacate the premises half an hour after our bistro closing time. We require the names of all minors attending your function and the names of their legal guardians who will be responsible for them on the night. Our bar staff are trained in the responsible service of alcohol and will definitely not serve alcohol to minors. If another adult attending the party supplies a minor with alcohol, they will have committed an offence under the Liquor Act as listed above. We trust that you understand the responsibility the hotel is under in this respect. LIQUOR ACT 2007 It is an offence to sell or supply to or to obtain liquor on behalf of a person under the age of 18 years. Maximum Penalty is $5,500. ROCKSIA HOTEL FUNCTIONS PACK - 6
TERMS & CONDITIONS Minimum function size is 25 people. A refundable deposit of $500 is to be paid to secure your booking. This deposit will be released within 7-14 days of the function date. The deposit will be returned as a direct debit into a nominated bank account. A requirement of a minimum spend of $3000 (public bar), $1500 (Function Bar) or up to $8000 (Lounge Bar) is to be spend on food & beverage during the function. If the minimum is not reached, the difference must be paid on the night from the deposit held. If the deposit does not cover the balance of the minimum spend, the difference must be paid on the night of the function (no cheques accepted). Should the function be cancelled within four weeks of the date booked, the deposit will be foregone. Payment is to be by cash or credit card. Eftpos facilities are available. No cheques. Please note that these premises are licensed and as such, age restrictions apply. No food or alcohol is allowed to be brought onto the premise without authorisation, excluding birthday cakes. The management reserves the right to shut down any function if there is any unlawful behaviour on our premises.
