SPACES UPSTAIRS Laruche s upper level features a full-service bar as well as a series of smaller spaces, which offer the perfect setting for intimate functions. For larger functions, the entire level can be exclusively booked for up to 110 guests. THE EAGLES NEST Watch the hustle and bustle from the best seats in the house. This space is great for small groups enjoying tapas, with the advantage of being close to the upstairs bar. THE CLOAKROOM This space is always a crowd favourite with its cozy and intimate atmosphere. Cuddle on the couch, enjoy some drinks or dance the night away in this intimate setting, secluded enough to call your own. THE FRONT ROOM For bigger groups who like to set their own pace, this area boasts plenty of seating and direct access to the upstairs bar. The Front Room is a versatile space, suited to medium sized corporate and cocktail parties. If it s an outdoor space you are after, we have you covered on that front too. Imagine a rowdy laneway in the backstreets of Milan circa 1978, filled with Italo-disco music, red-and-white chequered tablecloths, crispy pizzas, flowing Campari and lots of dancing. Jonny s serves up traditional italian pizzas all night long as well as vino, birra and a crafty cocktail menu perfect for Friday night drinks. Depending on the style you re after, Jonny s Pizzeria can also function as a private bar for you and your guests in the laneway. Unique in its positioning, atmosphere and catering from The APO, Laruche or Jonny s Pizzeria, Bakery Lane is a fresh alternative to your normal functions spaces. With the versatility of the laneway we can set up and accommodate for all occasions. If it is a sit down lunch or dinner you are after, we can arrange seating for up to 80 people. While the buzzing laneway ensures a great backdrop for any event, security can be provided to ensure the exclusivity of your event. BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS Laruche is free of official venue hire charges. DEPOSIT We require a deposit to secure your date. All reservations are only locked in once we have received the deposit. Deposits vary depending on the size of the space you wish to hire. Please see page 5 for exact costings and capacities. All desposits are redeemable on food and beverage for the evening. FOOD ORDERS All food orders for private functions must be confirmed ten (10) days prior to the event. Failure to do so will result in platter choices becoming chefs selection. CANCELLATIONS Functions cancelled within 72 hours of the event will forfeit their deposit. Functions cancelled after payment of deposit can redeem the deposit amount as a gift voucher. PAYMENT Full payment of the function must be settled the evening of the function unless prior arrangements have been made with management. DRESS CODE Laruche enforces a smart casual dress code. However, we are pretty liberal with our dress standards and don t mind t-shirts and trainers, as long as they are neat and tidy. Please be mindful that we have a strict no singlets, shorts or thongs policy. ENTERTAINMENT & MUSIC Laruche plays a range of house and varied party music during opening hours. On weekends, Laruche hosts a number of local and international DJs. EQUIPMENT & DECORATIONS If you wish to use any equipment or decorations please discuss this with the functions manager prior to the event. RESPONSIBLE SERVICE OF ALCOHOL All of our staff are trained in the liquor licensing accredited Responsible Service of Alcohol and by law may refuse to serve anyone who is deemed to be intoxicated. MINORS Patrons under the age of 18 are generally not permitted in the venue, however if you would like them to attend your function, please contact us for details and requirements. DAMAGE You are financially responsible for any damage sustained to the venue by you or your guests. LOSS OF PROPERTY Laruche does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage of property left at the venue prior to, during or after your function. All property is to be removed from the venue at the conclusion of your function. CONSUMPTION OF OUTSIDE FOOD AND BEVERAGES Other than cake, food and beverages that have not been prepared on the premises may not be consumed at Laruche. Our venue hire and function information package has been designed to give you a taste of what we can offer; although we understand that every event is unique and we will work with you to deliver the best package for your occasion WHAT WE ASK For themed functions and occasions we ask groups to be understanding of other patrons in the venue by abiding by the following: Please don t arrive or change into costume, including a sash or veil Please refrain from bringing paraphernalia including anatomy straws, cakes & props We do not have a license that allows for adult entertainment If you would like to bring some decoration, please limit this to a small bundle of arranged balloons or a small banner In return, we will provide you with a fantastic experience, great service, award winning food and amazing cocktails.
