PRICING AND VAT All Christmas and Hogmanay bookings placed with the hotel, by the customer, shall be subject to the following terms and conditions: Confirmation/Alterations To guarantee your booking, written confirmation should be sent using the attached booking form within 7 days of the original reservation, enclosing your deposit. Any amendments must be confirmed in writing. Additional spaces are subject to availability. Deposits We require a deposit of 10 per person to confirm all party night, party lunch, Christmas Day or Hogmanay bookings. Tables of six or more for La Bonne Auberge require a deposit of 10 per person. All deposits are non refundable and non transferable towards liquor purchase. Pricing The rates referenced in the brochure are inclusive of VAT at 20%, the hotel reserves the right to increase the level of VAT subject to legislative increases, which may increase the cost of your booking Final numbers and payments Full pre payment, of confirmed numbers, is required by the 14th of November. Advance payments for non-arrivals or cancellations outwith the notice required are forfeited and cannot be transferred to cover food, drinks or entertainment for other members of the party. Cancellation by the hotel /unforeseen circumstances In the unlikely event that the hotel has to cancel the event or package an alternative date will be offered or a full refund will be given. In the event of unforeseen circumstances e.g. a fire evacuation no refunds will be applicable. Important booking information All provisional bookings will be released after 7 days. The hotel operates a view before you book policy suggesting the booker views the particular venue for their party before confirming. Including (without limitation) terrorist activity or serious potential for terrorist activity whether within the proximity of the hotel or in the UK or worldwide and directly or indirectly affecting the UK, misconduct or negligence of an attendee, guest or external third party, war or threat of war, civil or political action or disturbance, riot, natural disaster, fire, epidemic, bad weather,military activity, governmental or regulatory action, industrial dispute, act of God, failure of power or machinery, failure of or interruption in externally provided services and utilities, and all similar events outside the hotel s control.
