Gavi del Comune di Gavi, Alasia, Piedmont, Italy, 2016 39.00 Like all Gavi, this wine is made from the Cortese grape, which gives the wonderfully crisp and lime-scented wines associated with Gavi. Bursting with apple, peach and honeydew flavours and aromas of lime, almond and summer grass, this wine is delicious!

This is complex and elegant but still shows weight and texture in the mouth. Superb! 16. Jean-Marc Pillot s wines seem to possess everything - richness and depth of fruit, the classic firmness of a great Chassagne and a long, smooth and harmonious finish.

A charming and well balanced wine with a velvety texture and black forest and damson fruits. 56. Rioja, Navajas Tinto, Spain, 2016 4.60 6.30 8.40 24.50 A small Bodega in Rioja whose quality is beyond question. 57. Cabernet/Shiraz, Fox Grove, South East Australia, 2016 26.00 Soft and juicy with brambly fruit, spice and blackcurrants. The palate is round and soft and has a good finish. 58. Pinotage, Franschhoek Cellar, Stone Bridge, Western Cape, S Africa, 2016 27.00 A nose of pepper, earthy spice and bright red berry fruit. Soft and luscious on the palate, with strawberry, red cherry and vanilla flavours, with a touch of garrigue spice. 59. Chianti, Volpetto, DOCG, Italy, 2014 28.00 Well structured and full-bodied, lively and intense, this ruby red Chianti is full of fruit with a hint of spice. A great food wine. 60. Malbec, Vida Organica Mendoza, Argentina, 2016 5.20 7.50 9.80 28.50 Medium bodied with dark fruits (brambles and black cherry) and smooth spices. The palate is round and soft with smooth tannins and a fresh acidity.
61. Neropasso Rosso, Mabis, Veneto, Italy, 2015 32.00 A wonderfully spicy and velvety wine, with indulgent dried fruit and smooth tannins. The attention to detail in the production of this wine is mind boggling. Hand harvesting and meticulous grape selection ensure the juice of the dried grapes is concentrated and the wine is complex and reminiscent of Amarone. 62. Old Vine Zinfandel, Scotto, Lodi, California, 2013 34.00 A nose of deep dark fruits and bitter chocolate leads to a full palate of spices and toffee. Smooth tannins and gently clean acidity leads to a pleasing finish. 63. Valpolicella Ripasso DOC, Bertani, Veneto, Italy, 2014 40.00 Violet red colour. Intense notes of blackcurrant, red plums, raspberry, black cherry and spice. A blend of Corvina and Rondinella. Good fresh attack on the palate followed by the perfect balance between acidity, sweetness and body. 64. Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, Poliziano, Tuscany, Italy, 2014 64.00 Well structured with an intense perfume of juicy, ripe fruit and a rich palate, with just the right amount of tannin. This is Sangiovese at its very best! MONSTER REDS Bottle 65. Shiraz, Last Stand, McLaren Vale, Australia, 2016 26.50 Premium quality fruit and mature vines have produced a wine with great balance, length and fruit intensity. Dark cherry and plum dominate the nose with hints of spice and leather. 66. Rioja Reserva, Beronia, Spain, 2012 42.00 Top quality wine aged in American and French oak for 18 months. Intensely aromatic, harmonious and complex, with a smooth silky finish. 67. Malbec/Cabernet Sauvignon, Amancaya Gran Reserve, Mendoza, Argentina, 2010 This wine is a brilliant blend from Nicolas Catena and Baron Rothschild, two greats in the 50.00 wine world. Not only does it have an elegant velvety mouthfeel, it is a perfect match for a prime cut of Beef. 68. Crozes Hermiatge, Vidal Fleury, Northern Rhone, France, 2014 60.00 This well-known producer of fine northern Rhone wines, combines the elegance of Côte Rôtie with an ease of drinking that makes this wine work beautifully with rich and spicy foods. That said it is an extremely versatile Syrah and could go with much more! 69. Amarone, 3cru, Veneto, Italy, 2010 85.00 This classic wine from the north east of Italy oozes rich raisin and mocha notes. With a blend of Rondinellar, Corvina and Barbera, this is a full wine which is a great accompaniment to braised beef, strong game dishes and of course a robust cheese plate. CLASSIC REDS 70. Château de Bon Ami, Bordeaux, France, 2014 29.50 A forward nose of red berries, cherry and redcurrants. The palate is smooth and well balanced with darker fruit characters and subtle smokiness. 71. Fleurie, Les Florines, Jacques Charlet, France, 2014 37.00 Wonderful ripe raspberry and blackcurrant notes on the nose and soft, round and supple on the palate. Some smokiness and floral notes help to lift this wine well. 72. Côtes du Rhône, Roc Épine, Domaine Lafond, France, 2015 36.00 A smooth wine with aromas of ripe fruit, cherries, blackcurrants and undergrowth. The palate is smooth with wonderfully concentrated flavours of dark berries, leather and spice. A lovely bottle full of charm and roundness.
73. Château de Roques, Puisseguin St Emilion, France, 2007 42.00 Ripe dark fruits, dry wood smoke and soft earth lead to a finely structured palate with smooth, sweet tannins. Subtle compost notes sit under cherry, plum and blackcurrant fruits. 74. Château Haut Bergey, Pessac Leognan, Bordeaux, France, 2002 65.00 A fully mature Bordeaux exerting 15 years of development. A blend of Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon. This elegant wine is best paired with roasted meat and game dishes and hard British cheeses. 75. Savigny les Beaune, Vielles Vignes, Domaine Denis Carré, France, 2012 68.00 This Beaune comes from very old low-yielding vines growing in gravelly, stony soil with small areas of sand. The old vines produce extremely concentrated and deeply flavoured grapes. The harvest is all by hand to assure grapes arrive at the winery in the very best condition. Superb!

Château de la Deidière Rosé, Côtes de Provence, France, 2016 34.00 Fresh with lemony and melon aromas and a delicious palate of spice, creaminess and good red fruit. Superb!
