HISTORY Alto Los Romeros was the name given many years ago to the picturesque meadows of wild rosemary that grow on the peaks of the hills in Puquillay Alto, in the heart of Chile s Colchagua Valley. At a height of 700 meters, they offer stunning panoramic views across to the nearby Andes Mountains. It was here that our original estate vineyards were planted, and the inspiration for this line of premium wines, produced by the LFE Wine Group, was borne. The LFE Wine Group was founded in 1976, when a young visionary purchased a wine estate which was established in 1936 in what is now one of Chile s most prestigious wine growing regions, the Colchagua Valley. Over the years the estate expanded, modern wineries were built, and a solid viticulture and enology team was created, with a clear goal to produce premium high quality wines to show the world Chile s special terroir.
BEST CHILEAN WINE PRODUCER Alto Los Romeros and LFE Wine Group were recognized as Chilean Wine Producer of the Year by both the International Wine & Spirits Competition (IWSC) in 2012 and AWC Vienna International Wine Challenge in 2012, 2013, and 2014 consecutively.

We are internationally certified in accordance with ISO 14001, ISO 9001, HACCP, BRC with AA+ unannounced audit (only Latin American winery with this level) and IFS. We are also certified sustainable by the Wines of Chile Sustainable Winery Code.

Alto Los Romeros CLASSIC The grapes for our Classic range of wines come from the idyllic Central Valley- renowned for its varied microclimates, and influence from the Pacific Ocean and Andes Mountains. The grapes are carefully cultivated to enhance their fruit characteristics which give each variety a distinctive personality. These wines have been crafted to be fruit-forward, juicy and easy to drink. They are perfect for enjoying on their own or accompanied by all types of dishes. Alto Los Romeros RESERVA Our Reserva wines are made from carefully selected grapes to produce fruity, aromatic wines with pleasing structure. The aromas of fresh fruit intermingle with the smoky and vanilla notes from careful oak ageing, creating wines with complexity and an excellent volume suitable for a wide variety of food pairings. Our Reserva wines are DO specific, prevailing from Colchagua, Casablanca, Rapel, and Maule Valleys. Alto Los Romeros GRAN RESERVA Our Gran Reserva wines are made with carefully selected grapes from our best vineyards, which are located in Chile s premier wine growing regions and managed to deliver in low-yields. These fine wines are always included in our family s private cellars and reserved for special occasions. Our Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Noir come from Leyda Valley; the Chardonnay from Casablanca Valley, and our Roussanne from coastal Colchagua. The majority of red varietals in this range are from Colchagua Valley and are aged in French and American oak barrels for 8-12 months, depending on the varietal.
