Bar, Restaurant & Private Rooms London s best kept secret
Welcome Introduction Ever since I started cooking in the crumbling splendour of Brunswick House in 2010, carving out a small corner among the beautiful antique filled rooms in which to serve small plates of seasonal English cooking and pour wines of unusual provenance, my dream was always to help my landlords Lassco return the site to its historic state of constant buzz and conviviality. Initially our reputation as a restaurant of originality and excellence filled the old Concert Hall dining room, however now we are immensely proud of the success and energy our private events in the rest of the house have bought to the venue. From weddings to board meetings to discrete romantic dinners a deux, we take as much gratification from our bespoke event service as from the glorious task of filling the restaurant every night. We look forward to welcoming you. JB

Wine We are enormously privileged to have the Duke of Brunswick s old cellars in which to store and condition our selection of fine wines. All of our list emphasises traditional styles of clean, low-intervention wine making from small, artisanal producers, much of it is organic and biodynamic. While our selection is deep and varied, we also are happy to help source anything specific for your party from our great range of contacts among London s many specialist wine merchants, or welcome a corkage charge should you wish to bring gems from your own collection. Discovery FOOD Food has been my lifelong obsession, and the cuisine at Brunswick House is reflective of my passion for the highest quality produce, presented simply and thoughtfully, with generosity and honesty. We have our own organic farm in on the South Downs in West Sussex, where we grow much of our supremely flavourful fruit and vegetables. We carefully work with our butchers in Cornwall and Yorkshire to source and age meat from small herds of heritage breeds, and our fish come from day boats selecting only the best of their line-caught harvest. Our menus for private dinners range from the generous family style feasts, to elegantly crafted canapés, to suit any style of service.
The Taste Shapers Jackson Boxer Jackson established Brunswick House in 2010 at the age of 25, having already accumulated 10 years of kitchen experience while at school and university, with a clear vision of how to restore this beautiful old building to its historical position as a landmark of companionship and hospitality. Andrew Clarke After two decades cooking in some on London s most highly regarded restaurants, Andrew joined Brunswick House as a partner in the business to oversee its continued growth and development. A formidably talented and creative cook, he has helped Brunswick House achieve the recognition and respected position within London restaurants it now enjoys. Cody Lennox Our Head of Operations joins having run one of Central London s busiest and most successful Member s Clubs. His tireless organisation and talent for hospitality ensure all our guests enjoy an expert level of service. The short and simple way of describing Brunswick House Cafe is to say it is perfect. Jackson Boxer has made a place that sends exactly the right signals about itself: it is quirky and personal, and casual and cool, but it s very well run, too, and the underlying commitment to good food isn t casual at all. John Lancester The Guardian
The food comes with a homemade, get-this-downyou hospitality and an undecorated confidence. It s made with careful, slightly nerdily curated ingredients, but the sense of balance, taste and gastronomy are more than sound, occasionally jauntily inspired.
