RWG FAMILY OWNED SINCE 1982 Our Story 521 Parrott St. San Jose, CA 95112 www.rwgarcia.com 408-287-4616 Media Contact: Kohnstamm Communications Rachel Jones-Pittier rachel@kohnstamm.com Office: 651-228-9141

Company Snapshot Family Tradition Our President and CEO, Robert Garcia, is driven by the notion of better. In 1982, seeking a better life for himself and his young family, he left a successful sales job to start his own tortilla chip company. A few years later, when supplier distribution issues threatened his fledgling business, Robert took a holistic approach and began manufacturing the chips himself. Recognizing the market need for healthier, higher quality and minimally processed snacks before the trend, he decided to make products that were simply better. The RW Garcia brand has come a long way since Robert and his wife, Margaret, started distributing their chips out of the back of a van more than 30 years ago. Still today, Robert s dual notion of better still drives our family-owned company his passion to make a better life for his family lives on in RW Garcia s innovative approach and drive to produce better-for-you, gluten-free tortilla chips and crackers. First Non-GMO Project Verified Snack Company Staying steadfast to our family values of making artisan, high quality chips, even before the clean label trend became mainstream, led us to become the first Non-GMO Project Verified snack company in 2009. We source the highest quality organic and non-gmo stone-ground corn that we artistically combine with seasonings and other additive- and preservative-free ingredients. In addition to our Non-GMO Project Verified status, all of our products are certified gluten-free. Taking an artisan approach to chip making means nothing is mass-produced and that we make daily accommodations for temperature and humidity changes in our manufacturing facility. Those individuals with discerning palates will definitely be able to taste the difference! Growth and Expansion Today our dedication to authenticity and transparency remains stronger than ever with two generations of our family working for our company. Now our product line includes not only non-gmo and certified gluten-free tortilla chips, but crackers that contain innovative nutrition and flavor profiles such as ancient grains, pulses, vegetables and a matrix of seeds such as chia, flax and black sesame all of which are also Non-GMO Project Verified and certified gluten-free. RW Garcia products are available throughout North America, as well as in Europe and Australia. To meet product demand, we now have two manufacturing facilities, one in Lincolnton, N.C., and a 63,000 square foot state-of-art production plant, which opened in 2014 in Las Vegas. In addition, our commitment to sustainability also means we reuse and recycle whenever possible. We recycle all unprocessed corn, cooking oil and cornstarch. Cattle farmers use all unprocessed corn for feed and bio-fuel converters utilize all unused cornstarch. Overall, Robert, Margaret and all of the Garcia family continue to take pride in making great tasting, sustainable and unique products that provide better snack options for families around the world.

Company Leadership Robert W. Garcia, President & CEO Robert Garcia has more than 30 years of experience working in the food industry, and a love for making tortilla chips that spans generations. After working in food sales at Standard Brands for many years, Robert recognized a need for high quality, all-natural and organic corn-based products in the snack food marketplace. He met Margaret Fraga, who also worked in sales at Standard Brands, and the two collaborated on an idea to start making the highest quality tortilla chips. After they married in 1981, the idea grew, and Robert and Margaret founded RW Garcia Co., in 1982, originally a distribution business for corn products and tortilla chips made with clean, simple ingredients. Four years later, Robert set up the company s first manufacturing facility in Milpitas, Calif. and began making his own all-natural, artisan and organic corn-based snacks, which remains our company s mission today. Under Robert s leadership, our company now operates two manufacturing facilities, one in North Carolina and one in Nevada. Our products are available throughout North America, as well as in Europe and Australia. Robert takes pride in keeping RW Garcia a family business. After more than 30 years of marriage, Robert and Margaret still enjoy collaborating and running the company s day-to-day operations. And when he s not dreaming up the next tortilla chip variety or cracker, Robert enjoys boating and golfing. Margaret Garcia, Vice President Sales & Marketing Margaret Garcia plays an integral role in the family business. In 1982, she helped her husband Robert create RW Garcia. With more than 30 years of experience leading our company s marketing and sales initiatives, she is the primary mastermind behind our robust product development efforts. Her world travels provide unique perspectives that assist in innovative flavor profile creation. Prior to helping start RW Garcia in 1982, Margaret worked in food sales at Standard Brands, which is where she met Robert. Genelle Chetcuti, Senior Director of Marketing Genelle has grown up in the family business, working in some capacity since the age of 12 until she went to college. Graduating from UC San Diego with a degree in Communications, she embarked on a marketing career in the high-tech industry, working for a variety of companies. In 2006, she transitioned back to her healthy snacking roots, bringing her extensive brand experience to the RW Garcia business. Since then, she s never looked back. Genelle is the mother of three children and she enjoys playing guitar, singing karaoke and collecting vintage Volkswagens. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, gardening and the company of her Bernese Mountain Dogs, which are also frequent visitors to the RW Garcia corporate offices.
