WHO WE ARE Foro de Debate, S.L.U. (the company that organised Reale Seguros Madrid Fusión), was set up in 2002. The raison d être of its origins aimed to bring the latest trends in current cuisine to chefs and gastronomy professionals from all over the world; it also saw the need to set up a forum for learning, knowledge and exchanges at every level.

After having held sixteen editions, Reale Seguros Madrid Fusión has established itself as the world s great gastronomic stage. Its goals are to show avant-garde cuisine, foster a closer relationship between world cuisines, encourage debate and critical thought about gastronomy and the myriad spheres that are linked to it (oenology, the food industry, technological innovation, scientific research and new business models) via live cooking demonstrations by the most important chefs on the international scene, surprising presentations of the most revolutionary techniques, round tables, etc. Its stages have welcomed over 650 chefs from all five continents: Grant Achatz, Gastón Acurio, Ferran Adrià, Juan Mari Arzak, Alex Atala, Nobu Matsuhisa, Heston Blumenthal, Michel Bras, Paul Bocuse, Quique Dacosta, Alain Ducasse, Pierre Gagnaire, Dani García, Thomas Keller, Andoni Luis Aduriz, Patricia Quintana, René Redzepi, Jöel Robuchon, Joan and Jordi Roca, Michel Troisgros and many, many more. And hand in hand with them are cooking demonstrations, master classes, wine tastings and seminars, competitions, tastings, tributes, auctions, as well as an exhibitor area. While Reale Seguros Madrid Fusión is being held, Madrid becomes the world s capital of gastronomy.

Gastronomy for the five senses. GASTROFESTIVAL The 9th edition of Gastrofestival Madrid brought together over 450 premises and offered a wide range of activities. A fortnight of films, art, music, fashion and theatre were some of the disciplines that, together with cooking, created new experiences to taste and enjoy. This event, organised by Madrid s City Council via its Madrid Destino Tourism Department and Reale Seguros Madrid Fusión, has become an umissable event on the city s cultural and leisure calendar.
