commences at 7.30pm with pre-dinner reception drinks hosted in the Old Coaching Stables with a selection of Bucks fizz, wines, beers & minerals. At approximately 8pm, or when all of your guests have arrived, you will be shown through to our dining area within our Starlit Marquee. The two venues are cleverly linked by our indoor garden area with its featured tree, twinkling hedge and decked floor which also provides for additional dining space. During dinner our resident pianist will entertain you, and drinks will be continually replenished. At the conclusion of your meal our bar and Café Renoir will open as the pianist passes the entertainment over to our Resident DJ. The Old Coaching Stables provides the dance floor and bar area, whilst the more relaxing ambience of the Starlit Marquee will offer guests background music and a sociable environment. The bar will close at 11.30pm with music concluding and carriages at midnight. GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS CHRISTMAS PARTY NIGHTS THE AIM OF THESE EVENINGS IS TO PROVIDE GOOD FOOD, WITH DANCING, ENTERTAINMENT, FREE TABLE WINES AND FREE EVENING BAR FOR A SET PRICE. The following information outlines what is included in this package: Payment schedule A provisional booking can be held for a period not exceeding 10 days. At this time, a non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings. The final balance for the evening will fall due 21 days prior to the party night, after which time, no refunds can be made. Opening times Pre-dinner reception commences at 7.30pm. There will be strictly no admittance before this time. Door closing time will be 10pm and no guest will be allowed entry after this time without prior arrangement. Our Resident DJ will conclude at midnight and 1am on New Year s Eve. To comply with licensing regulations the building will close at 12.30am and 1am on New Year s Eve. Reception Drinks On arrival, your party will be greeted with reception drinks. These include an unlimited supply of soft drinks, table wines, Bucks Fizz and beers. Meals and drinks during dinner A full three course meal as set out in this brochure along with an unlimited supply of French table wines, beers and minerals. Best efforts will be made to maintain a choice of starter and dessert to all guests as detailed in the menu, however, we are unable to guarantee the availability of all options. Please note, all guests will be served our traditional hand carved roast turkey main course unless our vegetarian option has been pre-ordered. Food Allergies and Intolerances In line with current legislation, we would ask for your assistance in establishing if any of your guests have a food allergy or intolerance. If your guests require details about the ingredients, please ask your table waiter on the night who will be able to provide this information for you. Free evening bar The free spirit bar opens at 9.30pm. This will include house spirits, table wines, vermouth and soft drinks. The only exclusions are bottled beers, liqueurs and specialist branded spirits, (e.g. Glennfiddich, Vintage Port, Hennessy XO, etc.) A full list of drinks is obtainable upon request. Staff will begin to collect unused wine bottles 15 minutes after the bar closing time. All drinks must be consumed 45 minutes after the bar closing time. Last orders will not be called and the bar will close at 11.30pm. Extension for New Year s Eve until 1am. Please note, we do not have the facilities for any cash or card transactions on these evenings to purchase alternative drinks with the exception of New Year s Eve when champagne can be purchased to toast the New Year. Café Renoir Café Renoir, located within The Indoor Garden, will open at the conclusion of the meal offering speciality teas, a selection of coffees and hot chocolate. Café Renoir will close at 11.15pm Behaviour Any persons behaving disorderly will at first be cautioned. If they continue to be, in the opinion of the management, a nuisance to other guests they will be required to leave. No refunds will be made. Seating Arrangements Our minimum booking is for 6 guests. Should you have a preferred seating arrangement, we will try to accommodate it, however, no guarantees can be made. Satellite Breakdown Whilst every effort will be made to maintain all satellite communications to the video wall, the company cannot be held responsible for any loss of viewing howsoever caused. Dress code Smart casual dress is a minimum requirement on these evenings. No trainers or sportswear and gentlemen are requested to wear a shirt with collar. Cloakroom Cloakroom facilities are available at the entrance to the venue. For safety reasons all top coats must be deposited. You must retain your ticket. In the event of loss of ticket no item can be collected until the building closes. We will not be responsible for any items not collected on the night. Regrettably a charge of 1 is required to instigate a contract between us so that items deposited are insured. All profits will be donated to charity. Age of admittance The minimum age of guests attending these evenings is 18. Any guest below this age to a lower limit of 16 years can be admitted when accompanied by their parents or guardians and on the proviso that they will not approach any licensed bar for beverages. Transport The hotel strongly recommends that you arrange your transport for your homeward journey (for midnight) in advance, otherwise delays may occur.
