The Bertona family is related to the Argentinean viticulture since the arrival in 1893 from Piamonte, Italy. Emilio Angelo Bertona, together with her wife and six children settled down in Mendoza at The Andes foot hills, and star growing vineyards the way they do at the Alps. Matías Bertona (27 years old), 5 th generation of the family, look to develop special lots of wines, applying the gained experience at wineries like Kendall Jackson/ Cardinalle (Napa Valley), Tapiz, Chandon, Salentein, and Tarapacá (Chile). Graduated Wine maker with honor, and took courses at David University and Napa collage.
Inspiratto related Art, Wines and Charity, producing attractive and special wines to consumers. As a part of the philosophy, for every bottle the consumer get, is collaborating with a fund to help children with severe disease in hospitals, and whose families don't have enough resources for treatments. The technical support and consulting is take from professionals of wineries like Chandon, Salentein, Tapiz etc.
Today our vineyards go up to 250 Acres, where we grow varieties like Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Semillon, Tempranillo, Torrontes. We elaborate every year just the outstanding lots, other portion is sold to the most important wineries of Argentina that require our quality grapes every year. Our vineyards are located in the mains productive valleys of the region. Weather: The combinations of warms sunny days and cold nights create an unique environment for the vines growing (990 yards over the see level) at the foots of Los Andes Mountain.
