DAY 1 Afternoon Arrive on Fogo Island and let the island start to reveal itself on the 30-minute drive through outport communities as you make your way home to your winter refuge, Fogo Island Inn. Check into Fogo Island Inn; a traditional yet contemporary masterpiece of modern architecture and design. Our welcoming staff will orient you to your suite, which is a front row seat to one of the wildest and most powerful oceans in the world. Late Afternoon Even though it will be difficult to leave your sumptuous, soulful suite, do tear yourself away to join us in the lounge. Enjoy a drink (shaken or stirred over, of course, iceberg ice), and relax.

After supper, view a screening of Roy Ward Baker s 1958 British Docu-drama A Night to Remember in our state-of the-art cinema. Late Evening Cozy up to a wood-burning fire in the lounge or in your suite, unwind in the roof top saunas and our hot tubs under a star-filled sky on the edge of a moonlit North Atlantic Ocean.
DAY 2 Wake-up Wake up and meet the day with a special surprise just outside your door. Our Day Break tacklebox features your choice of tea/coffee and pastries. And while you rouse yourself from the comfort of your bed look out your floor to ceiling windows and see what nature has delivered to you overnight more icebergs? 7 to 10 a.m. Breakfast at Fogo Island Inn Morning Meet your Community Host in the lobby for your island orientation. Be prepared for fresh perspectives and insights; stories and laughter during your half-day outing. Allow yourself to be oriented to this salty Narnia by the people of the place - who have retained their 400 year-old heritage; whose sense of self comes from deep historical ties to landscape and seascape; people who are profoundly at home on this edge of the known. 12 to 2 p.m. Dinner (lunch) is served at your leisure in the dining room. Late Evening View a screening of James Cameron s 1997 Titanic an epic, romantic disaster film in our state-of the-art cinema. Enjoy late evening drinks in our Lounge with traditional music played by local musicians. Relax in the sauna and hot tubs, read in the library, work out in the gym, or opt to retire to your suite. Day 3 Morning Greet the sun as she rises from the ocean and find a handmade wooden daybreak basket outside your suite door filled with coffee, tea and fresh pastries. Linger. Breakfast at Fogo Island Inn. 10 a.m A morning of leisure. Admire views of the wild North Atlantic from a rooftop hot tub, steam in the sauna with a vista over the community of Joe Batt's arm or relax in the lounge watching icebergs drift past the floor to ceiling windows. Lunch Lunch in the Dining Room. Afternoon Evening Hike up to Brimstone Head, considered to be one of the four corners of the flat Earth. Your assent will unveil views of some of the most stunning vistas on Fogo Island, revealing the stark beauty and craggy outcroppings of our distinctive geology.
