Old & Rare Glen Grant 1969 5yo [ 35] An amazing example of an original Glen Grant single malt distilled in 1969, bottled for the Italian market. Despite its age this dram is bursting with tropical fruit, pepper and light sulphur. They don t make them like this anymore! Emerald Isle 24yo [ 25] Hailing from an undisclosed Irish distillery this beauty boasts grassy nose, caramel spice, red berries with a finish of fresh peach. Who says all good whiskey comes from Scotland? Clynelish Select Reserve [ 50] The 2015 limited edition bottling from an iconic highland distillery. Waxed fruit on the nose - pineapple, honeycomb, dried apricots. Musty oak palate with a light but lengthy finish. Glen Scotia 30yo Chieftain s [ 40] Distilled in 1974 this 30yo is bottled at natural strength. It offers delicate floral notes of orange blossom and apricots and continues this on the palate with fruity pear and honeyed flavors. Rosebank 18yo Old Malt Cask [ 35] Rosebank was one of the best of the lowland distilleries but sadly closed in 1993. It s a treat to nose this whisky, Rosebank s classic floral character backed up by hay and fresh fruit. Soon there ll be none left! Port Ellen 1983 27yo Provenance Series [ 50] Bottled in the spring of 2010 from a refill butt, this whisky is well balanced between sweet and smoky elements. Closed in 1983 this distillery is set to reopen in 2020. Dallas Dhu 36yo Old Malt Casks [ 42] Dallas Dhu, meaning Black Water Valley, ceased production in 1983. This bottle was distilled in 1971 and is one of 181 bottles filled from one refill hogshead at natural cask strength. Autumnal notes turn into soft peachy flavors with a dry light peaty finish.
