The Tin Mine Red 2014 R148.00 Dark purple red in colour, with the nose that exudes aromas of violets, dried spices and concentrated black fruits with a slow release of mocha and dark chocolate. Zevenwacht Merlot 2014 R164.00 Rich and generous with plush concentrated flavours of plums and a combination of red and black cherries. Waves of upfront fresh red fruit and hints of herbs cover the palate from start to finish. Full Bodied Barrel Aged Red Wines Zevenwacht Cabernet Sauvignon 2014 R176.00 This wine is big, bold and full-bodied with intense aromas of black cherries, and blackcurrants, tobacco and herbaceous undertones. Dark blackberry and plum flavours dominate the palate, followed by hints of cacao. Zevenwacht Syrah 2014 R168.00 The wine shows classic Syrah aromas of white pepper and sweet spicy tones, underlined with notes of violets and Jasmine and a hint of meaty character. The palate is full and velvety, with peppery spice following from the nose to the palate. This was a result of 15 months maturation in first, second and third fill French Barrels.
