The centre has over 35 unique retail outlets as well as hair and make-up stylists on-site, a spa for your beauty and relaxation treatments, lingerie boutique, photographer and jeweler; all set against a background of perfectly manicured gardens. The four star boutique hotel Casterbridge Hollow has thirty rooms, and is a concept that has evolved with great charm, using the simplest and most basic materials with colours reminiscent of romantic hillside villages in Provence and Tuscany. The Vintage Motor Museum has a few vintage beauties available at no charge for use as a prop during your photographs. Venue Options Casterbridge has a variety of venues guaranteed to suit any size wedding. Each venue with its unique atmosphere and style will make your special day an occasion to remember. The following venues, and guest estimates, are at your disposal to ensure your wedding party and theme is catered for at Casterbridge. Magnolia Restaurant This venue has a set venue charge of R10 000 and includes square tables, white table cloths and serviettes, and standard cutlery. If you prefer round tables, they will need to be rented at an additional charge. Variety of set and buffet menu s, as well as exclusive tailor-made gourmet menus to suit your budget. VINTAGE SUITE A set venue hire of R12 000 (including draping) is charged to rent the Vintage Suite as an exclusive venue. The venue will be draped with your choice of black or white draping. Museum The Vintage Motor Museum is a large venue with many possibilities. A R20 000 venue hire will include standard draping in your choice of black or white. Any seating arrangements can be catered for as tables and chairs will need to be rented at an additional charge.

MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT Whether you d like to book a band, a classical ensemble, or a DJ we can source, brief and book the music & entertainment for you. Accommodation Casterbridge Hollow Boutique Hotel is conveniently located so that your guests and loved ones can walk from your wedding reception to their lush accommodation. Situated within the Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre, Casterbridge Hollow Boutique Hotel is minutes from all three venues. The 30 luxury air-conditioned rooms are ideal to start your life as a happily married couple. All the rooms are en-suite with separate showers and toilets, equipped with DSTV, telephone, coffee and tea facilities and a mini bar fridge that can be stocked on request. A special rate will be given to all guests booking to attend your wedding reception. The bed and breakfast rate for 2014 is R750 per person sharing. Children under 12 years is R250 per child sharing (Maximum 2 children sharing in family suite). The honeymoon suite, and a day room for the bride to dress, will be included with the first 10 rooms that are confirmed.
Child policy Casterbridge is a child-friendly environment. The hotel has four family rooms that comfortably accommodate a family of 4. Children under the age of 2 stay and eat for free. Babysitting services can be arranged in advance at R50 per hour. Kiddies entertainment and menus are available on request. Food & Beverage Menus Variety of set and buffet menu s, as well as exclusive tailor-made gourmet menus to suit your budget. Buffet menu minimum 40 guests Plated menu various menu selections Menu s start from R315 per person which includes a 3-course meal, welcome drinks and arrival snacks. Midnight Snacks A nice touch to the end of the evening for all your die-hard wedding guests. Mini hamburgers, mini boerewors rolls etc. Welcome drinks These are served after the ceremony in a pre-determined area while the bridal photos are being taken. These drinks will be accompanied by snacks and a selection of antipasto. Charges will vary according to the selection. We also offer exclusive wine tasting during these times- available at an additional cost. Beverages A licensed cash bar is available. We recommend that red wine, white wine and sparkling wines are pre-selected from our wine list. We prefer not to serve any wines that are not listed on our wine list, however, we will consider special requests. Magnolia Restaurant is a licensed premise and you are therefore not permitted to bring in or consume your own alcohol or soft drinks. Any changes to the bar requirements or wine selection are to be done in writing.
Set-up and cut-off times Set-up is from 07h00 on the day of your function. All outside contractors are expected to remove items by 10h00 the morning after our function. Magnolia Restaurant does not accept any responsibility for any items left in the venue after the function. Staffing Waiters and bar staff are included in your quote. The venue is available to you until 24h00, at 23h30 the last rounds will be called and the bar is closed strictly at 23h45. In the case where you request overtime, a rate of R50 per staff member per hour is charged with the absolute final round being called at 01h30. Risk, Loss or Damages Whilst every precaution will be taken to ensure the safeguarding of your belongings, Magnolia Restaurant and Casterbridge shall not be held liable for loss or damage to any property whatsoever. We recommend that personal and valuable property be removed directly after your function. Magnolia Restaurant shall not be held responsible for any interruptions of services (Water, electricity etc). Should the Casterbridge buildings, surrounding gardens, décor or napery be damaged by the client, client s guests or suppliers during set up or breakdown operations and during the functions, the client shall be held responsible and will be billed accordingly. The client will be expected to complete a credit card authorization of R 2 000 which will be deducted as necessary. Confirmations and payments A deposit of R10 000 will be required to secure the venue, and the final payment to be made 14 days prior to function. All menus and confirmation of final numbers to be confirmed 14 days prior to the function. The final numbers confirmed will be charged for unless attendance is greater. The client must confirm all changes and cancellations in writing. The balance of the food and beverage charges, estimated after 24h00 hour charges, pre-arranged bar costs and any additional costs must be paid for before the client leave the premises.
