Café Expectations Wait patiently for your table to be called. Walk to the appropriate line. Stay at your table. Remain seated until dismissed to leave, except to throw out your trash. Use a normal tone of voice. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself. Raise your hand to get permission to use the bathroom. Stay to the right when exiting.

Café Expectations Entry/Exit Use IN/OUT Doors... Pass using the door on the RIGHT side (we don t live in England... :) In the right, Out the right. General Cleanup mess/refuse at/under tables No Horseplay Hands off other people/food/milk/plate/utensils Drink Machines: problems see lunch room attendant (left is CASH, right is coupon Note: The one in the lobby does NOT work until 3 pm... Office (may go if requested by an adult or if permission is granted from lunch supervisor) Lockers (may attend if granted permission from lunch supervisor) NO FOOD or DRINK in the LOBBY AREA FOOD DOES NOT LEAVE CAFETERIA

Café Expectations Remain in seats - except when: getting lunch/additional food to throw trash away getting water/drinks restrooms (ask permission) Electronics 1st and 2nd lunches- We allow mp3 players and game devices as long as they don t become disruptive. We also allow phones on a REQUEST basis but specify that it is for Music ONLY.. if we see texting or calling on the phones, we will confiscate them. Responsibilities: Wash tables after eating : Pick up trash from floors

Café Expectations Possible consequences for not following guidelines: Assigned seat Sit in corner of cafeteria for rest of lunch period Sit in corner of cafeteria for one week during lunch period Sit in corner of cafeteria for two weeks during lunch period Removed from cafeteria and placed in office for a determined amount of time If major or minor offense the guidelines of student handbook will be applied

A:Activity (students are acting responsibly by following the cafeteria rules) M: Movement (walking when entering and leaving the cafeteria, dismissed to get food, throwing away trash, using restrooms) P: Participation (students are seated, eating their lunch, talking with people at their table, walking, throwing away trash, watching DirecTV)????

Café Expectations Used paper towels in WASTE BASKET (In basket...not near!!) BATHROOM USE; Must use restrooms in area directly to the north of the gym and south of the kitchen Go through LOBBY to bathrooms, not the serving line area Flush toilets and urinals

Entrance to Building in the Morning if Eating Breakfast If entering for breakfast you may only enter either through entrance south of kitchen on east side of building at single entrance door or entrance doors leading into lobby area between gym and cafeteria on west side of building Go directly to breakfast line if not eating you must stay outside Students may sit at any table they wish, unless they have an assigned seat Must remain seated unless throwing away trash May not leave café after it has been entered without permission from adult supervisor When exiting café after first bell students must pick up trash and ensure tables are cleaned Exit café after first bell using the double doors to the north

Bathroom Expectations Wait in line patiently. Pick up after yourself and put trash in the garbage can. Flush every time. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself. Report any malfunctions or vandalism to a teacher or the office staff. Used paper towels in WASTE BASKET (In basket...not near!!) Must use restrooms in area directly to the north of the gym and south of the kitchen Go through LOBBY to bathrooms, not the serving line area

Hallway Expectations During passing time, go to your locker, get your items for class, and walk to your class. Walk on the right. Go wide on the corner. Keep moving. Use a normal tone of voice. Quietly close your locker. Use the bathroom and drinking fountain as needed during passing time. LUNCH PASSING TIME: no talking in the halls, classes are in session!

Drinking Fountain Expectations Wait in line patiently. Keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself. Take a quick drink (sing one round of happy birthday in your head), then get to the back of the line in you want more.
