Monday 17 December General Manager s Potjie Competition Sunday 16 December Sundowners partnered with Graham Beck & THE DELI FACTORY Clubhouse Terrace 18h00 Relax and enjoy the view from the Clubhouse Terrace while enjoying a full selection of Graham Beck wines and delicious snacks from The Deli Factory. The evening is open to Fancourt members and hotel guests. Tickets are R60 per adult. This is a favourite on our Festive Season Programme. Who is going to be this year s winner? Will our Hotel General Manager have a turn to win this time around? On 17 December, join the Fancourt General Managers on the Clubhouse Terrace, where they will be cooking up a storm, as they compete against one another to prove to hotel guests and members that their potjie is the best. The afternoon will kick off with a 9-hole Golf Sundowner Challenge at 15h00. Please contact our Pro Shop for bookings as tee off times are limited. tuesday 18 December Waterford Wine & Chocolate Pairing Henry White s Thursday 20 December Kidz Christmas Party in aid of George Child and Family Welfare Ballroom 17h30 20h30 Indulge in a classic 5-course dining menu with wine and chocolate pairing partnered with Waterford Wines in our fine dining restaurant, Henry Whites. Tickets to this event are only open to members and hotel guests and are R325 per person. Bring your children to come and meet Santa and be entertained. Kidz will also have the opportunity to have some fun with our pastry chef, Nicky King who will be making ginger bread biscuits. There will also be a Kidz Disco (under 12) until 20h30. The Kidz Christmas party is open to children of members and hotel guests. Parents are requested to bring a gift per child and an additional gift for charity. Friday 21 December Christmas High Tea Morning Glory 15h00 saturday 22 December Carols by CandLelight clubhouse terrace Come and enjoy a Christmas High Tea at Morning Glory. Homemade fruit mince pies, traditional marzipan stollen, apricot glazed almond squares, petit rooibos crème brulee and cinnamon candy crust, quiche lorraine and assorted tea sandwiches. We will also be supporting Sikelela who will have a table with Christmas décor and some gift ideas. Sikelela Skills Development Centre is a project of George Child and Family Welfare that was initiated to bring together unemployed people in order that their creativity and initiative may be harnessed. The evening will feature the George Child Welfare children s choir as we celebrate the season of peace and prosperity. After the carols we will release lanterns into the night sky on the Clubhouse Terrace. Lanterns can be purchased at reception prior to the event or on the evening. The cost is R165 per person.
sunday 23 December Outdoor Concert with the Parlotones Bramble Hill 14h00 The Parlotones have always led the way in the South African music landscape in terms of innovation and live performance. Having headlined the Coca Cola Dome, performed live at the FIFA World Cup kick off concert to hundreds of millions, broadcast a rock opera live in 3D across the world on multiple platforms They are no strangers to setting new standards in live performance. The Parlotones have shared an extraordinary journey over the last decade and after touring the world for the past five years have realized that there are many towns in South Africa that they have not seen or visited for a while. Monday 24 December Christmas Eve Dinners Henry White s Gates will open from 14h00. For your convenience we will have a wine & beer garden and food stalls. Thursday 27 December Mountain/leisure bike Race 10h00 Saturday 29 December Family Fun Race 10h00 A great way to enjoy the natural splendour Fancourt has to offer! Cycle from from The via Bramble Hill, on the grass track through The Links and back to the. A limited amount of mountain bikes are available for hire. Cost for event: R 35/entry. Distance: just shy of 10 km. Difficulty level: average. Not recommended for children under 10 years. This race consists of two leisure trails, 5km for beginners and 10km for more adventurous runners. Two winners out of each race, the overall winning time and fastest time for Kidz under 13 years old. The cost is R35 per entry. The event is open to Fancourt members and hotel guests.

Coming off their SAMA win for Best Rock Album in 2011, Prime Circle have toured with Seether and 3 Doors Down and played to European audiences earlier this year.
