Plant Name Description Value Supplier Almira Buffalo Bone Jackson (Faulkner, 2011) Dip... height - 22" flowr - 5" branching - 4-way Buds - 18 Named for a Native American Indian Woman who was a visionary. Almira Buffalo Bone Jackson would take bits of material and left-over feed sacks and weave patterned quilts from them. She would sell them to local traders. This Diploid is the finest all around flower I've bred to date. It $200 / Single has produced so many good seedlings that early on I decided I shouldn't let it out of the garden because I didn't want the competition I might get from others. It has wildly fertile pollen, but is a reluctant pod setter. Every bloom is good every day...it holds up well under the heat and more importantly...it thrives in zone 5 and has been tested in S. Carolina where it increases like a weed. - SOLD OUT 1 ALMIRA BUFFALO BONE JACKSON 2 BADENOCH BEAUTY 3 BALLIN' THE JACK BADENOCH BEAUTY (Mussar, 2014) Tet. 5.5" flower, 32 scapes. A waxy, pale pink flower with a green throat and a gold ruffled edge. Early-mid season bloomer, reblooms, semi-evergreen foliage, 3 way branching (1 lateral and a top V) carrying about 15 buds. ((Rose Electra x Harmony Ruffles) X (Mandalay Bay Music x J.T. Davis)). The pristine flowers of Badenoch Beauty will always catch your eye. It was selected from a group of my seedlings planted at Bryan Culver's farm and when he used the pollen even before I saw the plant for the first time, I knew this one was special! The pale pink flowers have a heavy substance, diamond dusting and ruffling yet never fail to open perfectly. It's a beauty every day! Easily fertile both ways. Very limited. BALLIN THE JACK (Bachman 2014) 35 7 L SEV Dip 5 way 35 buds, bud builder. Crispate UF. One of several late bloomers introduced this year, BALLIN THE JACK is a very pretty light rose with darker chevron halo and chartreuse throat. Fertile both ways. Pedigree is a long line involving mostly Bachman genetics. {SIXTY MINUTE MAN X [(MULE EARS X SERGE RIGAUD) X KACHINA DANCER]} X EAT OUR WAKE PINTAHEADS Dave Mussar Dan Bachman 4 BARBARA NICKEL BARBARA NICKEL (S.Holmes, 2013) Tetraploid Dormant Late Mid 6". 16 buds, 37 H, 4 Way Branching. (Lavender Tall Stacks X Mildred Mitchell) X {(Yellow Mammoth Seedling X Webster's Golden Wonder) X Michael Bennett}. BARBARA NICKEL is a lavender bitone with a chartreuse throat blends into a lighter blue lavender watermark. The watermark which is darker near the throat and at its outer edge can be patterned after cooler nights. The petals and sepals both have purple veining. The petals have a pale lavender picotee edge. This fine lavender watermarked daylily is named for Barbara Nickel, a regular garden visitor who has become a good friend. I was honored when she picked one of my favorite daylilies to bear her name. BARBARA NICKEL is a 2012 Junior Citation Winner. Fertile Both Ways. $150.00 S.F. Limited Sandy & Mike Holmes 5 BEDLAM IN THE BLUEGRASS 6 BEHOLD THE LAMB Bedlam In The Bluegrass (Kirchhoff 2014) Tet 27" M Re Ex VFr Ev. 6.75". Huge double blooms in a medium orange self color with a medium carrot orange eyezone color, repeated on edge of petals and encircled in gold sawteeth. The throat is yellow to green. Fragrance is exquisite. (Dutch Yellow Truffle x Circus Truffle) BEHOLD THE LAMB (2014 Faulkner) diploid. Height 22"---2-way branching with 13 buds, 5" flower--cream colored flower with large purple eye etched in red and a sunburst effect coming from the throat, matching sepals. Daylily World 7 BINDERS OF WOMEN Binders Of Women--Howard 2013 (Photon Torpedo X Tet Skinwalker) 8"/45".MLa,Sev,Tet,UFo cascade- 20 buds,3 branches Tall lavender/purple blend with darker halo, pale mid-rib and large yellow-green throat. Politicians have been known to say inane things, but this phrase from the 2012 presidential debates is one I thought should be memorialized. The exact phrase used was actually "Binders full of women". It is sad that the pay disparity between the genders even exists today. If you look at some of the all-male institutions that have gotten into so much trouble in recent years I think we could use a few more females in charge. I'd say more but am trying to keep politics and daylilies separate--really. This one is pollen fertile-pods are difficult but not impossible. I have gotten some great selects from Curt Hanson's stuff and this tall imposing bloom has a wing span of about 10" and a corresponding large surface area. $45 / Double CT Daylily

8 BLAZING CANNONS BLAZING CANNONS. (Waldrop, 2013) (Spacecoast Blood Diamond x Home of the Free). Sev. Tet. Early to mid-season blooms. 31 tall, 5-way branching, 25 buds, 7 flower. BLAZING CANNONS is a cross between two champions. A champion pod parent from the Kinnebrew garden, and another champion pollen parent from the garden of Larry Grace. These two parents produced a brilliant red flower that is 7 in diameter. BLAZING CANNONS has grown very well here in North Georgia, and I m pleased to also report that it often produces proliferations. BLAZING CANNONS received its name after I watched many episodes on the history channel about the Civil War. Pod and pollen fertile. Bill & Diana Waldrop 9 BONIBRAE HEARTBREAKER BONIBRAE HEARTBREAKER (Matthie, 2013) (B. Maggie Anne seedling X Doppler Effect);tet, dor, 6", 32", 23 B.C., 4-way br.; The sculpting on B. Heartbreaker is amazing!, sometimes as deep as 1/4". With unbelievable texture almost everyone who sees this flower wants to feel it! Besides her deep "gills" the substance is incredible! Big strong stalks hold these beautiful flowers up for all to see. The pretty baby pink colour is highlighted by an stunning, heavily ruffled, looping gold edge above a lime green throat. Pod and pollen fertile. Southern-looking B. HEARTBREAKER is a very hardy dormant beauty. $200 / Single Barry Matthie 10 BONIBRAE LEMON PICASSO BONIBRAE Lemon Picasso (Matthie, 2014 intro) (B. William Simpson X Jellymaker) tet, dormant, 6" 3-way br., 28", 18 BC., My first instant rebloomer!(continuous bloomer?) B. Lemon Picasso will bloom from mid-july until frost! Beautiful, lemon yellow flower with dark purple-burgundy eye and edge all above a nice green throat. Edge has outer gold lining. Very easy pod setter. Pollen fertile. A real work of art. 11 BRAVO CARUSO Bravo Caruso (Moldovan-Woodhall, 2011) (Ron Valente: (Vatican City X Imperial Wizard) X Queensbury Rules: (Sailor's Dance Imperial Wizard) 34 to 36-inch scape, 6- inch flower, 4-way branching, 20+ buds, D. This daylily was selected by Steve as being his best 2005 purple which, considering his reputation for this particular color, is saying something. I have been astounded over recent years during my travels throughout his subsequent seedling fields how often he went back to H, Bravo Caruso in his breeding program. Taken to very ruffled varieties it is producing some of the most spectacular patterned daylilies that I ve observed. She is proving to be a very important parent in the quest for astonishing patterns. Given her illustrious parents I have no Idea why I was surprised with the ensuing results observed in the current seedling fields. Branching on this variety is exemplary and overall plant habit more than lives up to Steve s high standards. The deep, rich purple obviously comes from its pod parent, Ron Valente, while its bluish eyezone would appear to come from dad. Fertile both ways. Barry Matthie Roy Woodhall 12 BROWNS FERRY ROYALTY BROWNS FERRY ROYALTY (DOUGLAS, 2011) Tet, 7, Dor, ML-Re, 31, 26 buds, 5 way branching. (BROWNS FERRY SHEER MAGIC X THELMA DOUGLAS). I knew before this one bloomed that is was a THELMA DOUGLAS baby by looking at the size of the plant and scapes. One of the first keepers from THELMA DOUGLAS, this ice pink is very triangular with a pale yellow lacy piecrust edge and wide petals. Yellow veining and a yellow throat are set off by diamond dusting. It has very heavy substance, which opens well and makes large fans with dark green foliage. Being a dormant, it has some of the prettiest foliage in the garden. Making lots of pretty babies. Long bloom season. Fertile both ways. 13 CALL ME MARY CALL ME MARY (Kirchhoff-D., 2005 2014 Intro) Tet 31" EM Re Ex Ev 5". Perfect red, red blooms displayed on 28" well branched scapes with 25-30+ buds are the hallmark of this gorgeous daylily. It was chosen by red daylily connoisseur and expert, Mary Baker, our special daylily friend and grower from Omaha Nebraska. A small yellow to green throat sets it off to perfection. 14 CANDY PEANUTS (Seedling (Invitation to Immortality Painting the Roses Red)) CANDY PEANUTS (Sobek, 2013) 27" EE 3.5" DOR DIP. 15 CARNIVORASAURUS Carnivorasaurus (Grossmann-M., 2014) Height 30", bloom 5.75", season MLa, Semi-Evergreen, Tetraploid, 22 buds, 4 branches, Ext. Wide ruffled cream petals with large yellow teeth and a small green throat. Hot sun lightens the flower color and the substance is excellent. One of the widest petaled northern hardy flowers I know of with such nice teeth and it still opens well. Carnivorasaurus will repeat bloom on some years in my zone 4 garden. It's parent, Shores of Time is the same for me so if Shores of Time repeats for you I imagine Carnivorasaurus will as well. Easily fertile both ways. (Shores of Time Marmalade Muncher) - SOLD OUT 16 CASTING CROWNS Casting Crowns (2013 Polston) 28" 5.5" 4-Way Branching, 18 Buds. Dor,Tet. Rose Masterpiece X Rock Lobster. "Casting Crowns" is another in a long series of pleated (pinched) Daylilies that have become a sideline of our breeding program. These pleated Daylilies just give a different look in the garden. Fertile Both Ways. 17 CATCH YOU LATER 18 CHERRY STRIPES CATCH YOU LATER ( Mussar, 2014) Tet. 6" flower, 40" scape. A raspberry rose pink self with a pale pink watermark above a bright green throat. Dormant foliage, Mid-Late season bloomer with 5 way branching (2 to 3 laterals and a top V) and a bud count of 20. (Ruffled Bouquet Deluxe x White Eyes Pink Dragon). Ruffled Bouquet Deluxe was a plant favoured by Brother Charles Reckamp for the fine scapes it passed on to its kids and I would have to agree. Catch You Later has tall, well-branched scapes with flowers that gently roll back and clearly take after its pollen parent exhibiting a nice raspberry rose colour and a pink watermark. Catch You Later has a long bloom cycle with flowers still left to bloom following Labour Day weekend in early September on the original scapes. CHERRY STRIPES (Mussar, 2013) Dip. 6" flower, 30" scape, M, Sev. Striped and broken colour patterned daylilies are becoming very popular as they are dramatically different and unique. What could be more natural than to cross two of the best, Mike Derrow's Pink Stripes x Don Lovell's Peppermint Ice. The kids from this cross were all striped, some more than others and Cherry Stripes was not only the best of the lot but the best plant as well. What makes Cherry Stripes unique is that is has striped genetics coming from both sides of its parentage which should make it a powerful breeder for stripes. Cherry Stripes is so new and limited in quantity that I have yet to explore its breeding potential. The 6" rose pink flowers with variable white stripes show colour intermediate to either parent and are borne on scapes about 30" tall with 3 way branching (1 long, low lateral with a top V pair of branches) and a budcount of 25. Diploid with semi-evergreen foliage. If you are interested in breeding for stripes, you need Cherry Stripes! Registered late in 2013 and introduced in 2014. (Pink Stripes x Peppermint Ice). Limited supply. 19 CHILL CHILL (Huben, 2014) 28" EE 3.5" DOR DIP. NearWhite Self (Ice Trumpets * MH0207K). 22 CROOKED SMILE CROOKED SMILE. (Waldrop, 2013) (Virgil s Suspenders x Windmaster). Ev. Tet. Unusual form. Early to Mid-season blooms. 36 tall, 4-way branching, 22 buds, 11 flower. Although this beauty is an evergreen, it is tough. It does well here in North Georgia regardless of our cold winter temperatures. Perhaps this should be expected because one-half of the parentage of the pod parent is Tet. Indian Giver. Also, CROOKED SMILE is like LYDIA S REGAL ROBE and LITTLE JACKIE PAPER in that it has a tight bud and it hardly ever spots or looks untidy. CROOKED SMILE is pollen fertile, but a difficult pod parent. $75 / Single Bill & Diana Waldrop 23 Culver Collection #1 - The "White" collection 24 Culver Collection #2 - The "Pink" collection BARBARA WHITE (Culver, 2007) TET - 30" - EM - 7" Ruffled baby ribbon pink self with a vivid green throat. Ext.; Sev.; 3 way branching; bud count 18. (DUNEDIN X JADE PRINCESS). This daylily is named after a very good friend of mine. Barbara decided on this big 7 inch, diamond dusted, baby ribbon pink daylily to be her namesake. Huge flower and clarity of colour along with its big green throat. Pollen is very fertile, pods are a bit difficult, although it will set a few pods. NICK WHITE (Culver, 2013) TET -36"-MLa-6" A blend of melon-gold with a heavy ruffled gold edge above a green throat. Ext; Dor.; 3 way branching; bud count 25+; (VICTORIA PARK X JOY TO THE WORLD) This daylily is named after a close friend. This daylily combines the vigour and plant habit of our VICTORIA PARK along with the good plant habit and clean clear colours of Brother Charles's daylily lines through Roy Klehm's intro JOY TO THE WORLD. NICK WHITE is a heavily substanced flower that looks just as good late in the day as it does first thing in the morning. Easily fertile both ways. ELIZABETH WHITE (Culver, 2012) TET - 31" MLa - 7" A ruffled bright clear coloured rose-pink with a lighter watermark above a bright green throat. Ext.; Ev.; 3 way branching; bud count 15-20; (BETTY DEVEREAUX X BARBARA WHITE). This daylily is named after a dear daughter of our dear friends Barbara and Nick White. The rose-pink colour is bright, clear and saturated. Its bright exploding green throat flows both in the petals and the sepals. If there is a fault it is the evergreen plant habit. In the very early spring ELIZABETH WHITE will look quite mussy as it comes out of winter but recovers fast and grows well once the weather starts to warm up. Fertile both ways. Limited JANE CAMPBELL (Culver, 2009) TET - 34 - MLa - 5 Jane Campbell is named in honour of a dear cousin of mine, and is a ruffled pink self with a bright green throat. Ext.; Dor.; 3 way branching; bud count 22+ (MARION CAMPBELL x 287C) Full sib to LINDA SPOONER and has a more salmon-pink colour. If you want a vigorous hardy northern bred dormant that puts on a good show in the garden, this is one of the best. Pollen is very easy to use. DIANE CRAWFORD (Culver, 2007) TET - 36" - MLa - 5 1/2" Ruffled watermelon pink blend above a green throat. Ext.; Sev.; 4 way branching; bud count of 25. (MARION CAMPBELL X JOAN DERIFIELD) Named in honour of one of the Ontario Daylily Society's founding members. DIANE CRAWFORD, the daylily, combines the great plant habits of MARION CAMPBELL and the clarity and purity of colour of Curt Hanson's multiple award winning JOAN DERIFIELD. The flowers are a nice blend of rose/pink and open well each day. Because of the height of scape the flowers show off very well in the garden. Fertile both ways. LINDA SPOONER (Culver, 2009) TET - 32" - MLa - 5" A peach-pink self with a slight gold edge above a large vivid green throat. Ext.; Dormant; 3-4 way branching; bud count 30+; MARION CAMPBELL X 287C) This daylily is named after one of my cousins and is the daughter of our 2008 introduction Marion Campbell. LINDA SPOONER is a bright sharp clean coloured daylily that blooms with multiple flowers each day over a long bloom season. One that many visitors were attracted to the last few bloom seasons. Fertile both ways. Easy as a pollen parent, but a somewhat difficult pod parent. $210 / Collection $95 / Collection Bryan Culver Bryan Culver 25 CYBER DRAGON Cyber Dragon (Gossard, James) 2014 introduction. (Heavenly Mr tastic) x (Supermodel). Tetraploid 36" Mid season Dormant emo fr 7.5" 4 way branching 18-22 buds. Fertile both ways. Rebloomer. Flowers of Cyber Dragon are purple with a large creamy pink watermark and yellow green throat. Has a much bolder watermark than either parent. A great parent for hybridizing for bold watermarks. A very good hybridizing and garden plant. $150 / Double Jamie Gossard

A very Northern hardy daylily from two Southern daylilies. Heavily ruffled yellow edge with tiny teeth and some hint of green. An early morning opener that does not hang up. Pod and pollen fertile, will set pod 30% of the time in full sun. Single fan $125. Mike Georges 28 DIANA'S PEACHES AND CREAM 29 DOCTOR FEELGOOD 30 DON'T CHASE THE FLUSH DIANA S PEACHES AND CREAM. (Waldrop, 2014) (Varsity Orange x Tet. Terry Lyninger). Sev. Tet. Early to mid-season blooms. 27 tall, 4-way branching, 24 buds, 5.75 flower. DIANA S PEACHES AND CREAM has a beautiful orange color, with a brighter, glowing firelight color in the eye. There are wonderful ruffles on the edges of the petals. This daylily achieved its name from a lovely dessert my wife Diana makes during the summer. Pollen fertile, but a difficult pod parent. $100.00. Doctor Feelgood--Howard 2014 (Heartbeat Of Heaven X Jay Farquhar) 6.5"/35",M, Dor,Tet. 18 buds-4 branches. Magenta rose with slate-lavender halo and yellow-green throat with ruffled double edge of lavender and gold. Fertile both ways. A large bloom with very pretty coloration. I am not a Motley Crue fan-just like the name. DON T CHASE THE FLUSH (Bachman 2014) 52 7 L SEV 3 way 23 buds Dip. Jackie & I have been playing Texas Holdem poker for a while and one of the first hard earned lessons was not to CHASE THE FLUSH, it usually ends in you losing the hand (and your money). Another tall late one and bud builder, not quite a spider and inconsistent UF qualities make this a extra large flower. The color is rose pink leaning towards creamsicle orange with lighter midribs and yellow green throat. (SHIRLEY BIXLER X JIM DANDY TO THE RESCUE) Dan Bachman CT Daylily Bill & Diana Waldrop 31 DORIS WINTON Doris Winton (Kirchhoff 2014) Tet 38 M Re Ex EV 6 This is a beautiful dark red, named for a daylily friend. The color shade's a little bit lighter above the small yellow to green throat. Form is full and flat with sepals recurved. 32 DOUBLE-EDGED SWORD Substance is heavy. Pollen is very fertile. Double-edged Sword (Grossmann-M., 2013) height 28", bloom 6", season M, Semi-Evergreen, Tetraploid, 16 buds, 3 branches, Ext. Peach petals with a pink eye and a double edge of pink with a prominent outer gold edge. The double edge is also visible on the sepals and complimented by a yellow green throat. Easily fertile both ways. It has been a great parent for double edged seedlings with elongated petals and is the parent of several future introductions. (Queen's Coronation x Spice Hunter) 33 DUMBLEDORE DUMBLEDORE (Georges, 2014), (Lady Bandit x Sun Panda), Tet., Sev, 4.75", 26", 3 way branching, bc 18, mid-morning opener (MMO). A beautiful daylily from two Bryan Culver introductions. Very clear colour, reminds me of a bumblebee. Most of the good bumblebee names are taken hence the name DUMBLEDORE, an English word for bumblebee although more familiar to many as the name of the Headmaster of Hogwarts. Pollen is very good. Will set pod in full sun about 50% of the time. 34 ECHO ECHO Echo Echo (Gossard, James) 2014 introduction. 35 EDNA CRUMBACK 36 EGYPTIAN ENCRYPTION EDNA CRUMBACK (Culver, 2013) TET - 32" - MLa -5" A ruffled bright clear red with a lighter rose-red watermark above a bright green throat. Ext; Dor.; 3 way branching; bud count 20+; (KENORA WILDFIRE X FIRE ON THE MOUNTAIN). Named after a dear aunt who loved the colour red. EDNA CRUMBACK is an exceptionally good clear sun-fast red. While many daylilies in this colour class do not stand up well to hot days EDNA CRUMBACK does better than most dayliles in this colour class. EDNA CRUMBACK inherits a lot of colour staying power from KENORA WILDFIRE one of our finest introductions as well as one of our finest parents. A special very vigorous and very healthy plant. Easily fertile both ways. Limited EGYPTIAN ENCRYPTION (2014 Faulkner) Diploid Height 22"---4-way branching--22 buds, 5" flower with complex pattern in the eye, very fertile. "Egyptian Encryption" is the third sib. of this particular cross to be introduced. "Picassos' Paint Brush" and "Psychedelicious" are the other two with the same pedigree. For those hybridizers who are interested in producing multi-plex eyes in their patterns I would recommend line-breeding. I've done this the past 5 years with incredible results. Larger plants, better plant habit, bigger flowers and better colors. As with its' other two sibs it take a year or so to get established, but worth the wait. 37 FAYE COLLINS FAYE COLLINS (Lorrain, 2014) 32" Midseason. Evergreen. Fragrant. Fertile. How could a daylily with the AHS award-winning parents that H. Haute Couture has be anything but fantastic? I was going to introduce this daylily last year but found myself having trouble releasing it because I inevitably found myself discovering even more crosses that I had to make. I am currently using this plant extensively in my pattern breeding and rarely did a flower open when it was not immediately crossed. Its coloration varies between lavender purple to deep lavender. She has a rather interesting amber-olive coloration emanating from the throat. Three different rings of color make H. Haute Couture s pattern most intriguing. Looking back over this past summer this flower was the most exciting plant that I saw in my garden. Mid season came and so did the blooms. Over many years of looking at yellow daylilies, to my eye, this is the best that I have seen. One parent comes from Dan Trimmer, another parent is a Stout medal winner from Larry Grace, and perhaps the big contributor to size is Whatley s RAM. The substance of HEAVENLY SUNRISE is especially nice, and it is not particularly impacted by the summer heat. I picked the name HEAVENLY SUNRISE after thinking long and hard about the impression the flower has on me when I see it bloom. If you buy anything from me this year I would recommend that you include this magnificent plant. Pollen fertile and a difficult pod parent. 56 HOTLANTA HOTLANTA (Waldrop 2014) Tet. Red patterns are rare. Dormant red patterns even more rare. Add in the 7" size and the consistent look that is not temperature dependent and you can see the hybridizing potential.
