Connect the outlet pipe from the water filter directly to the Bezzera BZ35 with the pipe provided. 3. Alternatively, you can run the drainage pipe to a large bucket under your bench. 4. Plug the BZ35 into a 240V outlet and turn ON the power. 5. Turn on the power at the unit by pressing the orange switch. 6. You will notice that the pump will start filling the boiler straight away. 7. Fill the appropriate handle with coffee and attach as normally. 10. Press the button you want to program to start the flow of coffee. 11. TURNING ON THE BZ35 1. Place the cups and the spare filter handle on top of the unit to keep warm. 2. Turn on the power at the unit by pressing the Orange ON /OFF switch. 6. Wait until the orange temperate light goes out before making the first cup of coffee (about 7 to 10 minutes) IMPORTANT Discharge a littler steam from the steam tap to equalise the pressure in the boiler. This will prevent milk being sucked back into the boiler through the steam arm.
MAKING COFFEE USING THE BZ35 1. Fill the handle with the require amount of coffee. 2. Press the coffee firmly in the handle with tamper. 3. Attach the handle to the group holder by turning to the right. 4. Place the cup or cups under the filter. 5. The appropriate amount of coffee will then be dispensed based on the way that you have programmed the machine. 7. Remove the coffee grounds into a container by tapping the filter on a wooden surface. FROTHING MILK 1. Pour the required amount of cold milk into a frothing jug. 2. Raise the jug until the steamer nozzle is just submersed in the milk. 3. Turn on the steam valve and direct the steam down into the milk. As the froth raises, lower the jug. (this must be done quickly or the milk will overheat & collapse the froth) 4. Reduce the steam flow to a trickle and move the nozzle around to harden the froth. 5. Hold back the froth with a spoon and pour the milk into the coffee, then scoop the froth onto the top.
