We will then be collected from our hotel and taken by coach to our cruise on Saigon River with a buffet dinner. Hotel: Caravelle Saigon Meals: Breakfast, Dinner 4th AUGUST 2018 - DAY TWO: SAIGON - HO CHI MINH CITY This morning we will start with a morning walking tour through the heart of Saigon's famous and historic city landmarks including Dong Khoi Street (formerly Rue Catinat), the Rex Hotel, Municipal Theatre, Hotel de Ville and Notre Dame Cathedral. We will then visit the site of the former US Embassy (now the US consulate) before visiting the impressive Re-Unification Palace and War Remnants Museum. Also travel to Cholon, Saigon's Chinese district and visit the huge Binh Tay wholesalemarket and the temple dedicated to the Sea Goddess, Thien Hau. We will have a chance to try Pho for lunch, a famous Vietnamese noodle dish at a local restaurant. In the afternoon we hit the local markets for some shopping. Enjoy complimentary drinks and ca napes in the exclusive Signature lounge before your night at your own leisure. 6th AUGUST 2018 - DAY FOUR: SAIGON TO HOI AN This morning we will be transferred to the airport for our flight to Hoi An. We will visit a traditional ancient house, the Hoi An Museum, a Chinese Assembly Hall and the Japanese Covered Bridge. In the evening enjoy a dinner at a gorgeous restaurant in Hoi An town. We then board a boat for a leisurely cruise along the Thu Bon River to our favourite cooking school. On arriva I, explore the cooking school's herb and vegetable garden, before learning about some of Hoi An's and Vietnam's well-known dishes.
