Causeway, in Metairie. The exciting evening will bring a spectacular live auction including the fab Burgundy Easter Egg Auction donated by EGM VIII Tom "Rona" Conners, and an Easter Egg Hunt with prizes. Party goers can bid in the Easter Basket Auction with over $1,000 in prizes, the once in a lifetime "Man I Feel Like A Woman Put Rip in Drag Auction", the fab Bronze Easter Egg Auction donated by EGM VIII Tom "Rona" Conners, plus the Tibet Necklace (made of silver coated copper with beads; it is said it is a special gift from the Buddha and it will protect the wearer to avoid the harm from devils) Shadowbox Auction, also donated by Conners. Visit GayEasterParade.COM for more information. 10th Gay Easter Parade Sees Largest Increase in Sponsorships in Its History Benefiting Food For Friends Presented by Ambush Mag and Queen Fashions, the 10th Gay Easter Parade has seen the largest number of sponsors in its history, with more sponsorships arriving daily. The parade minus expenses benefits Food For Friends, a vital agency of the NO/AIDS Task Force. Past parades have raised over $48, 125 for charity. The parade will be led by Easter Grand Marshals X Tony Leggio and Marcy Marcell on Easter Sunday, April 12. The 2009 route is slightly different towards the end of the parade. Line-up is on N. Rampart across the street from Pre-Parade Party and Lineup headquarters, Starlight By The Park, 834 N. Rampart.
